Sometimes if you re-open the wallet file it works.. Not sure why but it does.
If you didn't solve the problem yet:
Open your Torbrowser and check in the network settings which port is used.
Enter that port in Electrum! I had to change the port from 9050 to 9150.

Have you switched to a different electrum server? Click on the red icon on the bottom right to select a different server.
Hi guys,
I've been trying to use electrum for a few days now and am absolutely stumped.
I've tried other versions, i've edited info.plist to make that one argument true when it said false (which allowed me access to network settings), i've tried multiple internet connections, still nothing. Electrum will not say "Online".
Does anybody have any ideas what could be causing this ?
