Hello elgreco Cheesy

We offer several instant payout games on our modest casino: http://satoshiroulette.com/
We have been operating for ~9 months now and steadily add new games and improve the site as we go.

To toot our own horn, we do offer higher payouts for the same odds compared to satoshidice and even attach progressive jackpots.

We consider ourselves very newbie friendly, players are welcome to shout out for help using our shoutbox or message us on the forums or by email for any queries they may have.

Always good to see another person doing their bit to promote bitcoin awareness Cheesy

This is the first time I've seen BTC Sportsmatch, and it looks like an exact clone of BTC Sportsbet.  What the heck is going on there?

Same people. Sportsbet is their conventional book and sportsmatch is their exchange.

Maybe you could add our site www.blockbet.net to the list, it's really simple to use and minimum bet is just 0.001 BTC. Winners get paid directly to their wallets so there is no register-deposit-withdrawal process at all. Very good for beginners, you can start betting in minutes and quickly increase your bankroll if you win on some of our higher odds.
stand up  outfit, so far so good,  ill vote to put   bb up  on the list, cheers my people.

Since my threads keep getting pulled at SBR, I'll post my OP here in case that helps anyone:

After 5400 views, the thread got pulled again. Please refrain from naming or linking any financial institutions.

Round 3:

I'm attempting to resurrect a thread with the same title that was started by Boondoggle and was a great resource for Bitcoin information before the SBR Mods deleted it. Their reasoning was:

SBR Forum prohibits users from describing their financial transactions with third party companies. Any reference(s) to such activity with sportsbooks, poker rooms, or other gaming businesses that may or may not be considered illegal in any jurisdiction will be removed. Users who repeatedly violate this policy will have their posting rights revoked.

Lets see if we can tread carefully and build this new thread back up to the informative level the previous thread was at.

Here are some quick links:

The best books so far at the time of this posting are:
www.btcsportsbet.com
www.btcsportsmatch.com

Sportsmatch is an exchange that provides vig-free Pinny lines with a 1% fee.

Remember:
Because of the ease of movement provided by Bitcoins, you do not have to keep a balance at these places. You can move BTC in, place your wagers, and pull it right back out.

Storing Bitcoins:
As far as where to store your Bitcoins, I personally recommend using www.blockchain.info as a "petty cash" wallet to move money around and for storing lesser amounts of BTC. They also have great mobile apps for iOS and Android.

If you reach a point where security is a concern, then I recommend storing the bulk of your BTC using BitcoinArmory which is available for download at www.bitcoinarmory.com It doesn't get much safer than cold storage.

Buying Bitcoins:

This is where I think we ran into an SBR rules infraction last time. I recommend going to www.bitcointalk.org and searching for one of the various bitcoin exchanges. There are many different options, but one of the most popular you will find by using the search term "instant". If you want to get them locally, use the search terms "local" and "bitcoins".

Volatility:

Bitcoins have been historically very volatile (Chart Here). Please keep this in mind before proceeding. Most of us consider the price of BTC to be a fun extra gamble, but if you want to limit your exposure, you can keep a cash balance at the largest exchange (you will find its name on bitcointalk), and only convert cash to BTC as you need it and then convert it back to cash when you are done.

Note to SBR Mods:

Please give us a warning if you can next time before deleting the entire thread. We are going to make every effort to stay within the rules will gladly fix any posts found to be in violation. A lot of time and energy from many posters was completely lost when you deleted the last thread, not to mention the loss of some great information for the community.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have and I'm sure the Bitcoin community will be more than happy to answer them.

Thanks everyone.

Anonibet is the only "full service" bookie that I'm aware of (parlays, wide variety of sports, etc.) My experience has been good thus far.  http://www.anonibet.com/index.aspx

ThaddeusB, since I have no experience with them, I can't really post their link. But if you like them, you'd be doing people a favor my posting it on my original thread. Some people have been saying negative things about anonibet on the other forum and I'm sure people will appreciate an endorsement coming from you. Just search for Bitcoin, it will pop right up.

Unable to access the network??

Works for me and we've been getting hits all day. I don't know if there was any downtime earlier today, but we'll probably have to invest more in bandwidth soon in any case.

Depending on what exactly your definition of "top" is, it may seem strange the only BTC bet site doing > 1k BTC a week is not there.

(PS. Are those two sites you link the same one?)

It might be interesting to note he only linked to sports betting sites, not general purpose ones

Title says gambling links. Bitbet does sports. I don't really see your point.

I found http://BitBet.us, maybe two days ago. No login wagering? I threw down some coin on a few bets. Once baseball season opens I'll probably open some wagers on there. Given the heat that InTrade has been threatened with, it is nice to have another place to bet on elections.

Sports betting is the avenue I've been looking to use to get some of my friends into bitcoin. I know casino style games have comprised most of the bitcoin gambling scene, but easy sports wagering is probably the killer gambling app for bitcoin. Let's highlight all of the viable betting books and see at least who handles the highest volume for the Superbowl at least.

Bingo.

You guys are more than welcome to add any links you want below. The links in the OP are sports wagering sites that I have experience with. I don't know how much action this post will get since the original thread only has 180+ views so far, but you may get some exposure. Keep in mind that the people reading this thread will be brand new to bitcoin and not necessarily interested in the technical aspects of it. "Retail Bitcoiners", if you will. Please be hospitable.

elgreco's gambling links

Regular Bitcointalkers, please disregard this post. There are some gamblers on another forum that I'm trying to help get interested in the world of Bitcoin, and that forum won't let me post any links.

______________________________________
Please refer to the original thread for details. This is just going to be a post of links and basic descriptions.

Here goes:

Top Wagering sites as of now:
www.btcsportsbet.com
www.btcsportsmatch.com

Storing Bitcoins:
www.blockchain.info  -  petty cash
www.bitcoinarmory.com  - safe storage

Buying Bitcoins:
www.localbitcoins.com  - Buy them from a neighbor
www.bitfloor.com - deposit at a Chase or Wells Fargo
www.bitinstant.com  - probably the fastest way to fund your account
www.mtgox.com  - the biggest exchange, this is the site i was referring to if you wanted to hold cash reserves instead of BTC reserves. This site has a pretty serious authentication process, nothing worse than offshores, but it takes some time.

I probably won't be monitoring this thread that much, so If you have a pressing question, either post it on the regular forum or Search for/Ask it here. This site is excellent for learning about bitcoin and pretty much everything involving bitcoin.

Hope this helps!!!

I do not endorse any links on this thread posted by other posters. Please use due diligence in researching their links on this forum before diving in. While I like to think that most people are honest on this site, it is your responsibility to look before you leap
