Yes I know this is not /ELI5, but there's no greater place to get good answers quickly other than this forum.
Can somebody please explain to me what is happening? I took a few month break from anything crypto related due to a few personal issues, school and work. I come back and BAM, there's a hard fork. What is going on? Why is it happening and who initiated the movement? What are the differences between BTC AND BCH? Is it safe to start transacting on the main blockchain?
And because I'm curious; do you support it?
I'm aware that there are lot of sources for me to look at and this topic could be utterly pointless, but, I'm really l lost at this point
I apologize to the one that makes the effort to answer all my questions in an extremely basic manner, however I'll say that I'm really thankful in advance. It could also help some other members in my position too.
