I’m a little bit disappointed that Elon Busk bailed on the Twitter deal actually. I am very concerned with big tech limiting free speech and censoring certain view points the elites deem unacceptable. I think Elon wanted to take a stand for free speech and I like that.
Personally, I think all perspectives should be allowed to have a voice. On the other hand, free speech gives voices to bullies land that is a problem but I prefer that we don’t stay on the present road of big tech censorship.

I like Elon Musk because he is wise and knows how to go for what he wants. He had been using style to influence the market previous time making people to buy doge coin and at the end some loses their fund due to lack of understanding about how this thing works and the smart ones make money. I like Elon Musk but I realize he gets a lot of hate out there. First, I think he's great for Bitcoin. He’s been consistently endorsing crypto publicly for years and that’s great for people invested like me. He gives BTC a lot of credibility and clearly sees the value of the technology. I also like that he builds great products and services. I don't personally own a Tesla but it's hard to argue they aren't great cars. Lastly, he's a huge advocate for free speech and I think that is a bedrock principle for a successful democracy. As difficult as it is to hear differing views, especially from people you don't like, I think free speech is essential for keeping the country united.

He’s calmed down a lot on the trolling regarding bitcoin. He was rampant around summer 2021 but he’s quietened it down a lot since. I think peak Musk trolling was around the time that China started banning mining last year. He is preoccupied with other things atm seemingly, with his Twitter stake purchase. I don’t predict his trolling to continue about bitcoin.

I understand this thread is about Elon, and everyone has own opinion... However, 20% tax is still quite "reasonable" if you compare it for example for many European countries. Anyway, what ever the tax will be, there is always means to avoid it - it's just politics. For example, in Finland capital tax is something like 34%, and things are practically double taxed in many cases to feed "communist" regime... anyway, those who really have money don't really pay much taxes and the same will be in the US.
