Or maybe it is your notification, you didn't confirm the email you're currently using to connect to the Bitcointalk.Also sometimes the server can't handle the load and it takes longer. Just be patient. & Close the thread and send it to Archive. Yeah the merit system seems to do a good job of catching account farmers.
It seems that this guy has just been lucky who is the only participant by making light questions and winning the lottery of someone merit
