i hereby propose my embargo against any alt-coin dev tryin to fuck over the community and the exchanges. all you scamcoin devs can rot in hell. not pointing anyone out in particular, but we know who you are, and you know who you are. we can smell it a mile away.. every fuckin time. all you noobs, much respect because i am one too.. but do not get yourself involved with a coin because it's fucking cute and you wanna join their team and go to the moon.. people doing this are contributing to the detrimental downslide of anything that was built or trying to be built via the altcoin community. where there is money, there are scammers.. and there's a lot of fuckin money up in here.

so, i will not participate in any coin launch which does not involve;

- a working, compiled version of windows-qt wallet at launch (at least a few minutes before launch.., and a promise beforehand of said wallet)
-linux and mac wallets too if you wanna go the extra mile to install a little bit of trust in you from the public.

-a working block-chain explorer

-source for wallet & blockchain before launch (again, a few minutes before at least..)

-details indicating more than just coin stats .. be innovative. at least a tiny bit.

-.conf instructions, with nodes/ports (if nec.. like i said im'a noob)

-whether or not a pool is planned

anything else i need to add, lemme know. who's with me. fuck these scammers.

Been doing that myself. My time is worth more than a gamble on 20 new coins a day. If I see an alt that catches my intrest and feel it may be something a little more than a pump and dump Ill move hashes there.

The devs have gotten so lazy.. I hate coins that do not have all the proper stuff on release. If the dev cant compile a -qt for the users who make up 80+% of the users, what does that say about the coin they made? Screams a pump and dump...or does not know or care about what they are doing.... or both.

I could not agree more, let the market decide which of the new coins are going to make it and which ones will die. If someone produces what most 99% call a crapcoin but it takes off, then we were all wrong, it's a good coin, that's just life.

+1 let the market decide

duly noted sir. i will. i just hate to see all of these people keep on riding some alt-coin train that's been called out and proven with scam.. it doesn't affect me directly at first.. but it may affect all of us in the end if it continues this way i would assume.
I think its possible that new coins kill older ones, also investors are shaky about where to the put their money for a good return, I am still new to this compared to some, I will be watching through 2014 for sure, I do feel like some old users know how to scam, a good coin name a little hype, walla btc in the bank, makes it difficult to sort it all out, exchanges might be getting a cut of the scam by mining the hell out of a coin they plan to list, sell their coins off while their buggy network throws a noob for a loop.

While we all appreciate your concern, people are going to do what they want to do.

The scamcoins will be mined and dumped.

Exchanges will pick them up because they take a cut of the transaction, they don't give two shits what is being traded, they take their cut in the form of BTC.

As long as these coins are mined, they will continue to be released.

This is what a free market looks like. If you don't like it, try your hand at mutual funds and the stock market and let me know how you do.

i don't know shit man.. as i said, i'm a newb. i support this one though, as the OP is transparent so far and seems to have some decent plans for development surrounding the community. launching in an hour or two.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annogc-onlinegamingcoin-on-coined-up-crypto-designed-for-online-gaming-393475

this one just launched yesterday, got overshadowed against moon flop.. difficulty is still under 0.. but i dunno about it, as op seems stubborn about releasing the source for wallet, although people in the thread say they've scanned it and it's clean. the miner he posted isn't though apparently, use your own cgminer if you choose to go after it.

alts look worthless if there are millions all just copy and pasted with new names. Boycott all new coins with ZERO innovation is the best way.

i agree completely.. and yea it is very clever of them no doubt.. but we all see what happens when a dev fucks with us. anger, wasted time + elec, and a downhill slide to shit city. no wonder bitcoinners look down on the alt-coin business.. bitcoin is full of dirty scams too... but alt-coin.. 4/5 are premined even if they say they ain't.

I am not mining a new coin that does not have a QT- wallet, waste of resources only shows the dev has no clue, even when there is a linux qt wallet and no windows qt-wallet I am still not mining it

thank you. real change always starts on a small scale with a side of controversy.

I guess all the new coins lend to the problem of investors unraveling the altcoin mess, but as a miner just leave the crapcoins alone and mine one that has all the things you have listed that you want, I hope to see some new innovation arise as new members start to hold coins and want to find a use for them, maybe they can get more merchants to accept the coins.
