Eh, excuse me.

I somehow missed this in the FAQ:

Quote
Q: How do I put an image in my post/thread?
A: First you have to upload it to some image hosting site. Just google it, I'm sure you'll find one that suits you. Then simply put in the link to that image like this:

Code:

Q: I can't post / embed an image and I'm a newbie. Why?
A: Embedded images have been disabled for newbies due to abuse (see https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/images-in-posts-disabled-for-newbies-1172918). You'll be able to post images when you become Jr. Member or if you pay a small fee. See more: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/newbies-can-now-pay-a-small-fee-to-enable-images-2385104.

Thread can be deleted.

Hello.

I would like to ask...
EDIT: Already found the answer, see the post below.

Is it intentional that if I try to post an image to a post in the [ IMG] tags, the image will not get embedded. It will simply change into a link as if I never put the [ IMG] tags in.
But if somebody quotes my post, the pictures seem to get embedded in the quote of the post.

Is this expected behaviour?
Or does it have something to do with the forum ranks? [Iam pretty new here]
I did try to read about forums rules and ranks and so on, but didnt notice any mention of it.

I link screen caps a lot and never had such problem on any forum.

Now try and quote me.

Thanks!
