I hope you can Add Vanillacoin
because very hard to get more address i need more adress

Vanillacoin...is this it? That looks very interesting. Their whitepaper leaves me with some questions (primarily, how it implements a more energy-efficient Proof-of-Stake system), but it's something I'll try to remember to keep an eye on. How is it "hard" to get more addresses?

yeah you right Smiley

RustyNomad, try Encompass-0.5.0-Windows-setup.exe rather than Encompass-0.5.0-Windows.exe.

Will do, thanks for the reply. Any idea when Doge will make it into the list? Read that its being worked on.

Is it just me or others also having problems with version 0.5.0?

Installed and tried to create a new wallet. Selected Standard wallet, clicked Next and nothing. Encompass just disappears/closes. Tried to start it up again and nothing. It does not open.

Uninstalled and re-installed and same happened again.....

The one you listed (Encompass-0.5.0-Windows.exe) is intended to be a portable version, not sure how well that got tested.  the -setup.exe installs like a typical windows application first, and should run without a problem.

Tried downloading the latest version (0.5.0) for Windows but get 404 or file not found error. Other links seems to be working fine.

EDIT: Found the correct link on Github

Link on website: https://github.com/mazaclub/encompass/releases/download/v0.5.0/Encompass-0.5.0-setup.exe

Should be: https://github.com/mazaclub/encompass/releases/download/v0.5.0/Encompass-0.5.0-Windows.exe

Encompass Multi-Coin Wallet
( Website | Github Repository )

Encompass is a multi-coin lite wallet based on Electrum. It's fully BIP-0044 compatible. This means that one master key is used to derive keys for all coins. With Encompass, one mnemonic seed is used to generate a master key. As a result, backing up that mnemonic means that you've backed up all the keys for all the coins that Encompass supports now, and will ever support in the future.

Chainkey
Encompass uses chainkey modules to support coins, so new coins can be added with relative ease. Chainkey modules are basically python files that contain all the information needed about a coin. Since it's based on Electrum, existing Electrum-style servers for a coin can be used to serve Encompass wallets. For more info on Chainkey modules, see the README.

Latest Release
Latest release is 0.5.0.
Supported coins:
  • Bitcoin
  • Mazacoin
  • Litecoin
  • Viacoin
  • Dash

The website linked to at the top of this thread contains more info. I just made this thread so that we'd have a dedicated thread for Encompass.
