You have to understand that government always wants to control its people, their finances, thinking etc. even manipulate them.
If people are not mature enough or scared (for example because of terrorism) government can manipulate them more easy.
It's very important to have free media (media without government control).
In countries which have free media people have more freedom thee is democratic control.
If there is no free media, and no free speech, we can't call such country free and democratic.
Unfortunately, it's very easy to manipulate people and restrict their freedom because of ''so called'' war against terrorism.
People are so naive often.

All countries impose limits for Speech but some of them give the illusion of freedom to show themselves as Human rights proponents.

Illusion means = Say what you want but don't overpass the limit that we putted... and so, the influence of the free Speech will not appear because of the control of big media stations which can really change the opinions and control minds.

So, it's just the way to stop people that changes... In some countries, Police intervene against any individual expression and in others, the LAW (that they putted) is used for oppression.

And the result remain the same : keeping control on people and not losing power.

I agree with it and add people are trained to think they are free but their entire thinking is limited and can't think out of box.

No, there is no such thing I guess.  We still have freedom to say what we want but in humanely manner.  Some people do this freedom of speech as their license to mock, to curse, to say their opinion harshly.  Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but in a good manner.  People should learn how to exercise this free speech by using their heart and mind before using their tongue.  Some are too concerned about their rights that they forget their attitudes.
What you said is correct. Freedom of speech does not mean that you can anything you want to say. Freedom of speech, means only one thing, a person should not afraid of no one, to express his opinion about his superiors, the ruling authorities. But these words should be reasonable to offend someone. Spoken words should have meaning. Otherwise, it is not freedom of speech and ordinary hooliganism.

How many years we have left? It seems people doesn't want free speech any more and want more mind control and less rights. Is free speech gone by 2020? What do you think?

You can say whatever you want. Your rights depend on the country you live in. Some cultures or governments take offense very easy, someone named Korea.

That would depend from country to country. As in North Korea (best Korea) we know the situation very well, but here in Serbia you can say whatever you wont, write whatever you want and noone will care, even slightly.

Freedom to speak also means freedom to not speak. We aren't really talking about free speech. We are talking about speaking without somebody else hurting us for what we say.

actuallt we are already in the end of free speech. why? because in some countries, we don't have that power to speak even we are in the right side.

for example: the poor. even they speak, some people don't hear them, and even don't care. so it's already end.

perfectly agreed.. if you are rich, people really care about your ideas over ongoing issues but if you are poor and you cant even make your ends meet, nobody cares your opinion and also they can insult you for being a poor person.
