Yes, the holo is still intact. And yes, this coin is more beat up than others I've seen on this forum. It was not kept in an airtight capsule but rather, in a plastic sleeve (by itself).

I have one loaded 1 BTC Casascius coins up for auction. It was created in 2011 as part of Series-1 by Mike Caldwell. Features an inkjet-printed public address on the exterior of the coin and a spelling error in the hologram (the 2nd "s" in "Casascius" is missing in the small holo-print).
