Well we never know if an unknown altcoin became populars and being patronize in the market, it has happened to so many altcoins from nowhere to what they are right now such as ripple, eos, litecoin, bitcoincash and also the highest rank and the king of altcoin ethereum. I can say that there is really a chance for a new altcoin to be one of the best coins but it will take many years before it became popular to the market.

Enigma was a well pumped altcoin, especially at the beginning of this year, when everything looked very pessimistic. But after a big raise, always comes a big fall, so ENG did not make it to the top and I doubt that it would ever recover.
Heard ENG mainnet is coming up soon. I haven't been follow as closely, but does anyone have thoughts?

The bull run they did was good, but I was a little doubtful that the enigma would love ETH because both of them had their own advantages, and also had a good future.

I have read about their Secret contracts, but do not you think that they try to copy Ethereum simply? yes, their ICO was a success, but it cannot be compared with Ethereum and cannot repeat its success.
However, I like the idea of ENG - to make the life of cryptocurrencies traders and investors easier, because at its base they will be able to automate their complex investment techniques.

This Enigma token is new to me, maybe it's because it has no announcement thread here, the dev should create an announcement thread if he wants more promotion to his token, and I don't think this will become the new Ethereum, people are saying that when they are buying new tokens and holders of large amount.
Enigma I do not know this token, but for now there is no coin who can beat the ethereum . I only believe to the litecoin and neo for the next ethereum. I don't thinl the enigma will turn as next ethereum because if not most of the people are did not know that token there is no factor to this token to suitable to next ethereum. Because only coin who are possible is the popular and potential.

I would not advise that you don’t convert your 10 alts earning provided you are sure that those alts does not even have a better product, team and community than ENG. This Eng token is not the first posted by a newbie that has the potential to be the next Ethereum I have seen so many threads like this, this is like buy this token I'm unloading my bags now kind of invitation, I could have trust it if it comes from reputable members of the community, who are known to invest in good tokens.
I have less idea about enigma, nevertheless, I doubt enigma will be able to chase ETH, in any term. Not in market cap, not in price and not even in the usability. Although it's very possible that one coin may get destroyed after certain time, but it will take more than 1 era to be happened.

usually when the rumors coming, the hype will follow and this will make the price growing,, and when the news show up, the power from the buyers getting low, wich mean sellers will win the battle and thats will causes the price down

Agreed that it's a good time to invest following a momentum strategy, but I prefer to invest long term following more of a value investing approach to crypto.

ENG had a lot of buzz during it's ICO time and is quite with it's development. There are much more options for alternative of ETH but ETH is growing harder for them each day. ENG still has a long way even to Mach current ETH rivals.
With total inventory reaching 150 million tokens and at a price of $ 0.4 I think it is possible for Enigma (ENG) to reach expectations for like Ethereum. Although I am a fan of the Enigma project am yet to see much similarities with ETH.. I see them doing well on the long term but I won't advise you to buy right now because of the uptrend in bitcoin value..
The truth is that there will be no ETH killer app and even If there is, it will definitely not be a token built on the Ethereum blockchain... assuming that you're referring to Engima like most of us guessed.

In my opinion, not because if we look at it in terms of the price of enigma it experiences a very drastic decline and also many other composers are superior to enigma so I'm not very sure that enigma will become the next eth

From what I read it was launched 1.5 years ago. Quite a lot of time "under the radar"; people still don't know this coin. So it has a big chance to stay under the radar forever...

Personally, what i believe is that to be the best in crypto, do your very best thing in your own way. Trying to compare yourself with an established coin will leave you rekt. Bitcoin is unique in its own way, ETH is unique in its own way and so ENG should also be unique in its own way.

Contrary to what most people have said regarding ENG on this thread, I think your assumption might be right.. Although I think the usecase of the ENG is different from ethereum.. I most confess the project has done well even through out the bear season.. I hard a choice to make between drgn, eng and pivx a year ago and I unfortunately chose drgn.. Yes, I should have clarified that I meant "next ETH" in terms of the characteristics of the price movements, and how it's under the radar (compared to ETH pre 2016 with strong following, strong team but not much media attention). Not comparing it to ETH as a token and functionality, and more so on price and value.
I also invested a small amount DRGN during their ICO and also invested in some of DRGN's own token offerings that have all turned out not as well (eg. Look Lateral).
It was more so to get opinions of the board.
A large number of subscribers can be easily collected from airdrop and it can also be just bots, so this factor is very small when choosing a coin.

Enigma and Ethereum is completely different, enigma aims for a decentralized web and ethereum has smart contracts where you can create your own coin, there's no way enigma can be the next ethereum but in marketcap sure it can possibly.

ENG is no way close to ETH, it's a hyperbolic comparison. Well, I'm not a holder of ENG and I'm not saying it's not a good coin per say, but definitely not a math for ETH. Also I will advise you not to convert all your holdings to a particular coin or token, it's risky. Do more research on the project, low price doesn't mean it's a good time to go all in.

Ethereum will always be ethereum no matter how it's popular to the people. Wait until the change in PoS has been made by the developers, this is what the people awaits these days.
i don't know why you think that ENG is the next ETH while ENG is on ETH blockchain, maybe you can claim it the next ETH if ENG has a better function than ETH
I also didn't heard about ENG, but i think even if is made new coin will not be the next Ethereum, to have more value than Ethereum i think is need a new feature and a new algorithm maybe but even so i think will take a lot of time /years.
Many projects claimed they are the next bitcoin, the next ETH and more. In fact, they can't be like what they claimed before. Eng is eng, eth is eth we can't claim if eng is the next eth. Different projects have different feature.
I have never heard of the ENG project, if I may know what concept they are making and what field are they engaged in? Then why do you compare it with ETH? while ETH is a coin that has been very strong and very successful.
The way I see it is that the best time to purchase a token is when it's quiet, and prices have been depressed for a while. Not just any token though. I look for a large following on telegram, reddit, and other social media platforms. As well as a strong team that is in it for the long haul.
