The Dutch government has recently had a positive attitude towards cryptocurrencies, which led to the legalization of cryptocurrencies at the legislative level, so if a casino complies with all the laws then it can get a license for both land-based and online placement. I think this is a good practice as it will bring additional income.

There would be those kind of considerations and they aren't blind with those opportunities as long they would able to comply on whats been asked or required.

It is indeed true that they would really get that additional income and its good that government had really had some positive views and perceptions
towards crypto which is already a plus.

License is something a common thing for a business to have yet this is really adding up some boost or assurance or confidence into those users which
do tend to make use of their service.

It's interesting that UK listed Entain managed to get a license, when all the other operators look like "locals" - not that it should matter if they are a responsible gambling company who can pay the highest price for it. It'll be interesting to see whether this newfound addiction to gambling revenues drives more European countries to open up and compete. It makes sense really because you either have to allow it or the revenue will be picked up by your neighbors from online gambling. Let's hope that all of these operators act responsibly so that more licenses will be issued rather than causing the government to change their mind and revert back to the old bans.

Just newly hear them on this thread and obviously crypto peeps doesn't know about this as they are not accepting it on their casino so maybe if they shift their ways and decide to accept crypto maybe they can accumulate more gamblers to come in their platform. But as they are new to me maybe I will still monitor them to see if they are really good since I'm not the type of gambler who goes with casino which been hype here and I always look after with their result and trust score.

Other than that the taxation is horrible, they have increased the tax rates to 30.1%, when asked about it apparently it was because of the delayed Online gambling licenses. Which I do think is really high, if they are just starting the new companies will have a probelm registering and earning profits for the long run.

I do think that the whole idea would be not only implementing safe Gambling practices but at the same time taking care of the Privacy as well, most sites are gonna ask for the email and you must report the winnings as well.

While it obviously seems that obtaining a gambling license in the Netherlands seems much easier than for example, getting a gambling license anywhere else in the EU, especially in countries with stuck-up buerocratic nightmare laws like Germany, I still think it would have been more prudent to look for a gambling license in one of the Islands, with the added bonus of being tax havens, you would also get a license much simpler.

The thing that should be considered when taking into account crypto stuff isn't really about their stance on gambling, but rather their stance on crypto itself. Implementation of crypto adoption would stoon follow immediately after that imo. Especially if we consider just how much of a boom it is right now for crypto casinos.

What's the benefit that the license can give to us here?

Is crypto-payment supported by those companies that have already been granted with the license or those companies that are now allowed to operate?

If it's pure fiat betting, I don't think that news can make an impact here. I also see that license covers the term of mandatory KYC which is usual on fiat gambling sites.

All a genuine gambler needs is a reliable site to gamble and get paid when due.
Entain should do well to take up contracts with the 'people's choice' gaming platform or prune thier customers with adverts on how the sites works,the likes of bingoal,Holland casino etc.
And also, requirements of ksa online operators to centralize their data base should be undentical and uneasy to access or made in a way that could not easily get spammed.

It's scary to look at the share price of Entain, it has skyrocketed during the pandemic and that means a whole load of people have lost a whole load of moeny to them. I think as the world gets back to normal this company will return to lower levels, so they want to keep the ball rolling as long as possible with things like an expansion in to the Netherlands. They definitely have a huge range of gambling operations and this puts them in a prime position to make the most of this gambling license. It's actually surprising that the Netherlands is so slow to adapt and protective over gambling considering all the other vices that their country have a reputation for allowing.

You didn't hear about them because they are fiat based gambling houses. They don't yet allow cryptocurrency gambling on their platform yet. But they are indeed big names in the sport gambling market.

Second thing, Netherlands is a small country but that doesn't mean they are poor. Netherlands is the world's 13th largest economy with GDP nearing 1 trillion dollars. So they are rich like hell. For any company with sales in European region, Netherlands is a preferred destination.
