Shit, did I leave the stove on?
$16,180 as per today's Bitcoin price is doable in 2-3 years for people with a normal 9-5 job in countries with average living standards. The big problem is if people would actually want to spend that kind of money on something as uncertain as crypto currency. Bitcoin might not be around in 10 years from now. Do you have proof that it will exist for decades to come? We all have beliefs, not evidence.

Call it wishful thinking fueled by our own greed.

Seems OP is little confusing with dollars/btc/decimal notations.

As per https://blockchain.info/charts/total-bitcoins to join that "one millionth bitcoin hodler club" we just need ~16.035 bitcoins as of today (by ignoring all lost and burnt coins) and it may slowly grow to 21 bitcoins in next ~130 years.

I am not eligible to join there yet.

I also read it as $16 and 18 cents. So I got confused with how the OP was written. Anyway, along with others here I don't even have one whole bitcoin yet. I had two whole bitcoins back in 2015 but I lost everything in gambling. I wish I hadn't lost it in gambling though. That's a lot of money now, it's actually doubled.

You might want to change the title to $16,180 because $16.180 is read as $16 and 18c in most parts of the world.
1 in a million is a nice club to be in, but the wait to be truly rich because of these coins could take a long time. Many people won't have the patience to wait that long.

I thought the same at first, and then after reading the OP i came to know that he is talking about $16,180.
And, i don't even have 1 complete bitcoin yet, so i'm really too far from that target of 21 bitcoins and i have too much to earn still.

Im going to need that the price stays as stable as possible, if it keeps growing fast im not going to be able to hit the 21 BTC goal in time. I was able to make BTC faster when it was only 250, now it's so hard to make 1 every month. Spending 770 dollars every month on bitcoin is something that very few people can do, but I will keep hustling until I reach 21, and after I reach 21 I will start gambling in the alt market with the extra BTC beyond that 21 goal.

Therefore, anyone that owns $16.180 will be rich in 10 years, because he is ahead of the pack by several orders of magnitude.

Did you already reach the 21 BTC goal?
Yes I have around 10 x $16.18 in bitcoin and will buy & hold more in coming days for future.

I don't think even 1% of total world population are holding any part of bitcoin till now and the one who actually invested in bitcoin 6-7 years ago are now millionaire in reality so in next 10 years may be the one who are holding bitcoin from now will be millionaire too.  Grin

In order to be part of the small group of 1 million people to ever own 21 BTC (and less than 1 million since a lot of coins are already lost forever and it will keep shrinking) is: 16.180 dollars.

So if you use your head, you will see that this is a lot of money for like 99% of people out there to gamble with, specially if you tell them to invest 16.180 in bitcoin.

Therefore, anyone that owns $16.180 will be rich in 10 years, because he is ahead of the pack by several orders of magnitude.
