Eos is supposed to be the Ethereum killer. It's been one hick up after the other so far. Definitely off to a rough start.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/email-scams-patched-loopholes-and-backroom-politicking-eos-mainnet-s-road-to-launch

Do you still believe in EOS?

I, personally, am sticking with Ethereum.
EOS is a coin of a new generation of crypto currency. Being in many respects similar to ethereum, it already surpasses its technical characteristics. Therefore, in the future, EOS can bypass the popularity of ethereum. The disadvantage while EOS is that it is little-known so far. However, in time such a defect will disappear. Therefore, right now it is necessary to purchase .EOS, while it is not yet very expensive. However, for the time being, do not forget ethereum, for the present it is one of the most promising and reliable coins and it needs to be given priority in investing.

How many Ethereum killers have appeared in a year, which already becomes ridiculous, and especially the latest events with eos, that their network is constantly experiencing problems, proves that there is nothing better than Ethereum at the moment.

$4 billion for building a blockchain is just too much, it's going to corrupt anyone's mind. EOS is a centralized coin and we are getting to see that thing in the past few days as dozens of accounts are getting banned with no reason stated. I don't think this coin is going to last longer, it will only survive till it has the ICO money left.

Why would anyone with any sense invest in EOS?

Yeah I read them as well. Totally a point to be considered. I remember the scam of monero gold if I'm not mistaken all the hype then the token is reproducible and they dump all of them. easy loads of money  Cheesy

EOS is an alright cryptocurrency but it will not be an Ethereum killer. There are other, way better cryptocurrencies compared to EOS and these pose a threat to Ethereum, not EOS. But we should also keep in mind that EOS is in fact a good project but at the moment it doesn’t pose a threat.

EOS is the good potential coin and it upgraded project, in coming days have update on EOS so price will reach high and EOS will beat ETH but its not easy so it will take long time

EOS-according to what i have read. the most powerful infrastructure for decentralized application, EOS is a blockchain-based,decentralize system that enables the development, hosting, and execution of commercial-scale decentralize applications on its platform. No official full form exist for EOS, and the creators have decided not to formally define it themselves, supports all of the required core functionality to allow businesses and individuals to create blockchain-based applications in a way similar to the web-based application, like providing secure access and authentication, permissioning, data hosting, usage management, and communication between the dApps and the internet. It is also supported by a web-toolkit for interface development, making it a complete offering for hassel-free app development. it essentially works in a way similar to Goggle's Play Store and Apple's Apps store.

I don't think that EOS can beat ETH. Look, ETH has already been so popular in the market. And its acceptance is growing day by day. However, in recent time, so many transactions are made using ETH. So I believe it will be hard enough to beat ETH by EOS. but I am not disagree fully since market is always unpredictable.

I glad to see that the team has been wasting 4 billions for nothin. Those are still yelling about EOS is the future just like a blindly person that can't even see what has already happened with EOS itself. A buggy blockchain with so many vulnerabilities. I hope someone will try to find another vulnerability and then this will give a real proof how bad EOS is. EOS is a big joke from dan

if you understand how the network works and what it will be able to do in the future, then you would have already started to buy EOS coins now because otherwise you just will be late.

If you understood that their network gives a handful of people the power to freeze accounts, cancel transactions and confiscate tokens, you wouldn't invest at all. EOS might as well be a centralized bank.

I appreciate the problem that this particular coin is trying to tackle, but I honestly don't think that it can outperform a coin as big as Ethereum. I am not a fan of EOS and have not invested anything into this coin, but I feel this coin does have potential since it reached the top 10 rankings on CMC within a very short span of time. I also like how transparent the developers of this coin are.

You don't need to focus in one altcoin it's better to split your money in different altcoins. Ethereum and Bitcoin are both well, it have a great role in crypto world than others. Honestly  I am sticking with ethereum and Bitcoin. EOS are having a similar smart contracts with ethereum and I think it would be good.
I know that diversifying technique that has been popular for most but with EOS, I don't have it and there are some vulnerabilities found with their mainnet lauch.

It is true that EOS is a good project with that big market cap, but to think that it can be superior to ETH might not be a good idea. We all know that ETH runs secondly to BTC and no other coin will throw it down. Well that was just my idea, we don't know what could possibly happen in this crypto world. Still peoples demand will take control in the changes of coins values in the market.

I too, am personally sticking with Ethereum. From the very beginning EOS already started to look like a money-generating scheme for it's management team. Why would you need billions just to develop a blockchain that you simply fork (copy/paste) from existing code?

The fact that they allowed themselves to rake in that much money says a lot about the EOS project. It's a money-making scam. If you've invested in EOS then I suggest you cash out while you still can.

Better cash out quick if they don't fix the bugs with the mainnet.

TLDR, Quote?

"I agree with Dan, we should just print tokens"

"I suggest "issuing" and not "printing" as a better vocabulary, especially given the sensitivity around the subject."

"Agreed, I think the wording "print vs. issue" for optics the word "issuing" should be used for the global message."

Let's not forget that the EOS constitution also gives the Block Producers the power to freeze your account, close your account, reverse your transactions, and fine or confiscate your tokens. It's worse than a fiat bank.

I don't really understand why EOS has so huge market cap. Is it not the point that we all have to worry about? They planned to launch the main net earlier, but at this moment it does not work normally. The same situation with TRON
What is the tronx situation on this? I also noticed the mainnet is good development for the token and maybe make this project gain more interest among investors. But it seems like Eos has stagnant marketcap, maybe because the market condition is very low so no much different to Eos too.

Lol. That's obviously manipulation in their end and they agree to create more tokens and the worst part is that is being reserved for them. If its true then will go the path of XRP as well, too much hype and the people from behind are just enriching themselves. I really don't understand why people are totally sold EOS though, for me its just too much hype. It might end up a good pump-and-dump coins for all we know.

EOS is a good cryptocurrency but I think it's still not good enough to be able ETH killer Smiley. There are so many others cryptocurrencies better than EOS and has higher chance to defeat ETH than EOS like NEO so I don't think EOS will be able to win ETH before NEO Smiley).

Eos is supposed to be the Ethereum killer. It's been one hick up after the other so far. Definitely off to a rough start.

Do you still believe in EOS?

I, personally, am sticking with Ethereum.

Oh well, its not yet taking off and now we have this kind of issues. I believed is a good project, but I don't think that it can just throw ETH out of the window. If EOS can prove its worth then people and investors will go and purchase them but it doesn't mean that ETH will be overtaken. I will also stick with ETH and they are also cooking something as well. Let's wait for EOS full potential before we can conclude that it will even challenge ETH.

Have a read of this chat log from the EOS Block Producer Telegram: https://pastebin.com/wD7V4EU5

Pay special attention to the part where they agree to just print more tokens for themselves as needed.

Why would anyone with any sense invest in EOS?

good question

EOS is good project and good potential coin but it not beat to ETH because ETH is the upgraded project and some govt planning projects with ETH, more ICOs depended ETH now and ETH is the rulers in crypto market after BTC

I don't really understand why EOS has so huge market cap. Is it not the point that we all have to worry about? They planned to launch the main net earlier, but at this moment it does not work normally. The same situation with TRON
