I think EOS has been replaced by WAX, they have become less popular. In the past, EOS has always been no. +1 for blockchain gaming platform but now all move to WAX with almost the same ecosystem but wax is preferred nowadays. The great thing about their network is that they don't need transaction fees, they only need ram to transact, the more RAM we have, we can do a lot of transactions too.

Weiss Ratings, a private company that provides analyses for savers and professionals, published this week a list of the notes it attributes to 93 crypto-currencies.
Top of its ranking are Cardano (ADA) and EOS (EOS), which are followed by Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Stellar (XLM) and TRONIX (TRX).

These ratings are obviously fake. EOS has had literally 0 adoption the last three years. Project like ICP, which have hundreds of developers and provide real world utility should be the top rated cryptos on a non-biased list.

I think that if they would unite all the altcoins that exist, I don't think they will reach BTC, they will never be able to stop BTC, first because BTC is the one with the longest history, it has gone through all the market stages, under which it is The most basic are Accumulation and Distribution, it is also the only currency that has a life of its own, it has a life of its own because all altcoins depend on BTC and all its movements, even the tokens can go down with a low price of BTC, this means that when BTC goes up the altcoins often make jumps of up to 3x or more, that's what King does to BTC.

We All Can Make It
It doesn't even matter if any altcoin is better in terms of technology to Bitcoin because none of them can replace Bitcoin.

It's not a competition or a contest, this is about adoption and acceptability and it is obvious that Bitcoin is the most acceptable cryptocurrency and it is also fully decentralised and the network security is second to none.

There is a higher chance of Bitcoin getting upgraded to meet up with technological advancements than it getting replaced by any altcoin.

You can say that in dreams
BTC cant be replaced and one more thing position of No 1 will be a struggle between ETH and BTC according to some users well thats also a dream.
No doubt ETH is powerful but as you cant replace Gold in traditional banking system similar to that you cant replace BTC in decentralized Crypto universe.

BTC is future thats it.

Technically speaking, bitcoin is a dinosaur! Many other altcoins are faster, cheaper, private and better than bitcoin. If I want to transact regularly in cryptocurrency, I would definitely prefer some altcoins over bitcoin. So the list makes complete sense and I don't see any surprises.

Bitcoin is enjoying the first mover advantage in the crypto market. It is the pioneer. People around the world are invested heavily on bitcoin related mining hardware and operations. So in terms of popularity, it's impossible that some other altcoins will ever suppress bitcoin, but technically it's a little old.

This topic was created 4 years ago, and it hasn't proven to be true at all. ADA has been gone down, and EOS is nowhere to be found. This is proof enough that things may not be as it seems and that is the main problem. I feel like we should be focusing a bit more on the part where Bitcoin is bitcoin and it will never be replaced and nothing is "better" than bitcoin.

Sure, if you look at the tech side of things there are many that will be much better looking but the reality is that the tech is not the only thing that people care about when talking about this. There are a lot more things and Bitcoin is leading the market thanks to them, at the top place.

They can be better in terms of what they can offer like speed and TPS. But still, nothing beats bitcoin as the greatest asset class in the crypto market.

Looking at the progress of it, the last ATH didn't made transactions to be that expensive unlike the ATH on 2017 and that means that the network has improved a lot and it's no longer clogged at all times.

That's an upgrade that you'll not see because you're looking into alts. Me as well, looking into it but not ignoring that fact about bitcoin.

If this claim is true why haven't Bitcoin lose its first rank on coinmarketcap or coin gecko yet? There is one thing you don't understand, the success of crypto project isn't only about how many problems they solve in crypto space, people are the most important part in crypto world, if they have interest in a project more than the other no one will stop it.

I strongly agree with you, bitcoin is very unfortunate to compete, because bitcoin is the first parent in cryptocurrency, everyone knows, this is all the influence of public trust on bitcoin, although there are other altcoins that are close to price, but for a price equal to bitcoin , none other than bitcoin, bitcoin has a good price potential in the market, therefore the public is very interested in bitcoin.

I think this laughable audit cause cardano has nearly no products. EOS is also something legendary on paper but in REALITY? Who knows.. Ethereum is lot better coin than bitcoin but definitely not others. Others aren't important.

If technically speaking, a lot of altcoin actually exceeds bitcoin.
I can't help myself but laugh at this statement. I don't think people are aware what they are doing when comparing bitcoin to these quasi-coins.
I mean, EOS doesn't even have a mainnet yet. How can it possibly rank higher than Bitcoin and compare with its fully functional 9+ year old mainnet??

bitcoin is king of all coins, i think no one can beat it but for technology maybe EOS or ADA is better and very good for long term investment.

For the crypto currency, in addition to technical parameters, social parameters are still very important. Fame and hype have a greater impact on the prices of crypto currency than the essence. Most people are not yet crypto-literate.

I do not think it's right to compare cardano eos and bitcoin. Because each of these currencies fulfills its task and strives for its goals

If technically speaking, a lot of altcoin actually exceeds bitcoin.
However, bitcoin's status will not be affected, because bitcoin has always been a leader in the cryptocurrency market.
Cardano (ADA) and EOS (EOS) were awarded B, while Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Stellar (XLM), and TRONIX (TRX) were gratified of a B-.However the 4 lowest rated assets are : Bitcoin Gold (BTG), Bitcoin Private (OPGT), Electroneum (ETN) and ReddCoin (RDD).
Weiss Ratings supported four criteria, but did not provide the corresponding scores for each asset:
* The risk index, which takes into account the risk of a fall in the price of the currency,
** The reward index, which attempts to estimate its potential for appreciation,
*** The technology index, which focuses on the computer code used by a digital asset,
**** The fundamentals index, which is to ask whether a crypto-active could potentially be used by many individuals.
