It's not really the EOS fault, it is a general problem, all the coins in the market is just down and down, the whole total market cap hit a new low last month, that shows that is because of the condition of the beat market, when thing improves, EOS price will go up once again.

Its not just the EOS that has taken a dip, all of the coins. Why are you so surprise when it already happened before the mid of the year?
Some have even bought EOS at he price of $14 before the snapshot, didn't complain but got tons of airdrop coins.

Because it's centralized, inflationary, buggy, and your coins can be seized against your will with no prior notice. It barely deserves to be valued at 5 thousand. 5 billion is a joke.
Remember EOS developer has raised more than 2 billions on their crowdsale and it looks suitable to see the price of EOS right now rather than see the price of EOS worth more than $15 and that was a joke for me. People are still betting on the buggy blockchain dude.

ETH started with countless bugs, anything can be fixed with $2B. Given a time a motivated coder can fix them in less than a week.

At the time of writing, EOS (EOS) price has dropped a sizeable 0.68% to $5.93. This loss has reduced the EOS market capitalization to just over $5.37 billion according to CoinMarketCap.com. Any reasons why EOS behaves like this?

Everyone knows that we are in a terrible market condition and every coin in the market is affected, so it's no surprise us again seeing EOS or other coins going down by their total cap, I believe when the market recovers, everything will go up once again. we all need patience.

Every crypto is falling right now. EOS is not an exception. But right now I see it is valued at $6.4 and Ethereum still at $278!!! So, I guess that's an improvement. But of course, EOS is very new. It doesn't have many applications and mainly devs are using it. Only when general public starts using it, then it will rise in value. Till then it's just another potential coin!

The reason is that the bear market has affect the whole market and the whole total market cap is down so every coin is down by their total cap, even the bitcoin is down, so this is a general caused by bear market condition.

I also saw not only EOS experiencing this, even almost all altcoins. that should be the question, when will it recover. Huh
with a market situation like this. however, EOS still ranks 5th in the marketcap. that's a good rating. Cool

This year EOS was unexpected pump and dump are happening in the market. So we should not predict the exact reason for raise and fall in crypto market. But EOS will never failed in the market because this will going to moon on end of the year.

So it is enough to look at other cryptocurrencies. Falls all. And EOS is very muddy and incomprehensible coin. I suffered for a long time, but did not understand how to create a wallet so that I had private keys. I watched a few videos, but did not understand anything

I think this happened not only to EOS, but also to other good alt coins. EOS has blockchain backup with good project and good team, so I think when market gets stable, EOS will remain on top of alt coins for price upswing.

I think it's still at high price, compare with last year $0.5 per EOS, investor still earn x10 profit if bought at last year, same as BNB, don't have other reason, just a market correction and whole market cryptocurrency is undervalue, I'll buy more and hold for better price, patience and wait for the day coming

Many altcoins have lost similar market share. I don't see anything special about it.

Maybe there is a place in the grand scheme of things for a centralized coin like EOS. Who knows. Some people brag that they are less centralized than a single organization, and if that's the degree of decentralization they are satisfied with, then be it.

Their main net may process a lot of transactions per second, but it wouldn't mean much if the price to pay for that is losing your fortune overnight. And we yet have to see how resilient they are to hacks and other attacks.

All things considered, I may use EOS for speculative purposes, but not really for anything else.

EOS is a really promising and exciting 3rd generation blockchain platform that is slated to compete with the likes of Ethereum, NEO, Cardano. Despite the temperorary decrease of price, I believe that this coin will succeed.
