30 000 EOS!
That's terrible to say the least. As more individuals find out about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology the likelihood of potential security threats and hacks increase dramatically. I suggest these platforms should always have a pen-testing team looking for vulnerabilities to exploit within their platform in order to protect funds and the reputation of their platform.

Haven't try to play this game, but obviously with this kind of news, sometimes you are really frustrated as how people behind the project are really handling this supposedly game. Easy money for hacker here as he found an exploit but I do hope that they can catch this thief. Even though it is EOSPlay, but I'm glad that EOS still looks strong at $4 and was not affected by this bad news. Did the hacker steal the money from fellow gamers though?

A mayday word seems pretty bad in my opinion and from that tweet, it seems they can not handle this situation, and hackers had spent just $1000 USD to Win over $110,000 USD which I think is a pretty huge amount in my opinion but at least nothing happened that majorly ruined EOS, And in my opinion EOS price is still in a great state I guess they are back in track and is now in control with the situation, Even though this incident reall is occurring with some major gambling sites and Exchange well there are ups and downs with any system and nothing really is perfect but I think EOS is pretty sorry about this and will do whatever they can to fix this problem.

what, EOS hacked?
what happens with crypto, I know that EOS is one of the safest platforms, if EOS is capable of being hacked then another altcoin can be easily hacked. if this continues, crypto will lose public trust. after last month the Binance exchange was hacked.

Come out of the dream that nothing is unhackable. There are bugs with everything , it's just that if it is discovered with someone who has malicious intent then they will exploit it.

This is getting quite common actually. I think as insider's sometimes.

EOS Hacked – After an attacker used an ongoing exploit on EOS network to win every roll on a gambling dapp, the network has been frozen. So far, the attacker has managed to steal more than $110,000 worth of EOS.

How EOS Hacked? An attacker used REX on the blockchain network to continuously win on the gambling dapp EOSPlay. A twitter user with username Rektkid explained that an attacker rented a load of resources from REX and is using to exploit a gambling dapp EOSPlay and has gathered 30,000 EOS.

Anyone playing this game? It was reported that someone has exploited the system and stolen around 30 EOS worth $110,000 that time.
I think EOS mainnet was not hacked but just an EOS base DApp called EOSPlay, and im not wondering how these happen! Because every platform has subjected to any vulnerability that maybe not yet being discover thats why all cryptocurrency base platforms has a security risk that needs to be tackle and audited by continues security upgrade from the internet security experts it was already happen before and it will continue happenning if those crypto platforms are not doing any action regarding security

well , another bad news came again from EOS blockchain.
its seems funny right now, a few years ago , many people claim EOS will easily beat ETH both on technology and smart contract concept.
but , even on nowdays they still have a trouble on their own system.

This is sad news I don’t like news like these because hacking is unethical, and I hope the game developers can catch a hold of this hacker. As I have never used EOS coins before is there any chance these hacked coins can be recovered, or are they lost forever?.

I saw this news on coindesk and actually thought it's a joke. Little did I know that it's true, I didn't know a hacker can get such huge amount just like that from EOSPLAY. This calls for more advanced security measures to combat security issues like this.

This is the complete news about that https://cointelegraph.com/news/hacker-spends-1k-to-win-over-110k-in-eos-betting-game-using-rex

It seems like EOSplay was getting exploited by the network and eos network is not getting hacked and by the way the hackers are using it to exploit the game to win every game.

As per the article that i have been mentioned if the hacker spend bucks for that.

I play the other game eosbet and yes eosbet has also experienced the same attack in the past (2018) but it hasn't been there but I did check a few weeks ago when someone looked like manipulating a roll because he always won bets with the highest amount with highest payouts. in eobset the highest payout is 98 x and strangely, he won 4x and get 15 thousand eos easily, but it's just an accusation that isn't strong because I just assumed, I hope in the future cases like this do not happen again

Bitcoin lover!
This is a famous game based on EOS, but I have not played it. I am sure that the developers have already fixed this problem. Similar cases will happen, but this case did not affect the EOS price, the price continues to rise and is ahead of BTC, ETH and other popular coins.

I don't play this game but you said 30 EOS which worth $110 dollars. Not $110,000 dollars.
And the Report was two days ago. I hope it would have been solved now.
Although the link you sent.. It was 30,000 EOS.
Thanks for the information by the way..
