It was not very good news about EOS. I think everyone has already heard about the collusion of the largest coin holders eos. I think that the system is not very perfect and it is not developed at all. Etherem is much stronger.

EOS was attractive on ico with their promises. But after they made the blockchain, I was disappointed in this coin blockchain. Is eos better than eth? definitely not.

Hi guys

I have been super busy with a project that's dear to me. The project is Chamapesa.

Chamapesa is a blockchain based digital ledger for social savings groups in Africa. I like to describe it as a social media app with strong auditing and accounting tools.

My team members are Ian Grigg, Ken Griffith and Marc Beane

We just recently put out a short film documentary with Tomer Kantor and Proof Of Work Media

I highly recommend, its a great watch and explains what we are building

still holding.

There's lost of room for upside.

I only took out my initial investment
That's a very good strategy and I'm glad you're following it Smiley

From now on you can just "play" with crypto currencies and not worry about loosing your initial investment. Practically, even if you loose everything you have right now, you won't be loosing anything  Wink

Don't you think EOS is to centralized for it to ever ''kill Ethereum''. From what i've seen so far its not a coin I'd like to hold when BPs can freeze my wallet or something.

ETH has shown great potential and convenience. EOS is just a new project, and there are new breakthroughs that can compete with ETH. I have not seen any point for EOS to cross ETH. The community stores and uses ETH very much and trusts it.

I just read this on an EOSIO Gov chat on telegrama

"...we are at the forefront and in the very midst of a phase shift in blockchain culture... fin the best-possible governance"

I have noticed a lot of techies and traders havent grokked the enormity of "blockchain governance"

This is huge!

EOS is a new project and needs to be upgraded more. The future is hard to come by but I do not see ETH being in danger any time soon, even if the EOS is on the mainnet and there are some projects that are developing code on it. The community of ETH is huge and they will stay with ETH

I guess EOS price is going to be stable until June next year when the ICO is concluded. It's probably not a surprise that the price has come this stage as the project is still being built. I see Dan's vision in EOS is to allow anyone to build a Steemit or even facebook as the next web, which could be huge. Whether it will kill ethereum is not clear, as the latter could evolve as well, but EOS certainly looks superior in terms of capacity and performance.

Some Chinese exchange are close the trading of EOS because it is still an ICO project in process and the price is dumped to a very low level, so I think it is a bad news to Chinese EOS holders.

I own some EOS ... I keep reading about "registering" it, though.  What's the deal with that?  Is registration mandatory?  What purpose does that serve?

In order to claim EOS tokens on the EOS network you need to map an EOS key to your ethereum wallet that is storing the ERC20 tokens. The purpose is to facilitate a 1:1 distribution of actual EOS tokens to existing ERC-20 EOS tokens. In other words, it's the process that proves that you are entitled to an actual EOS token based on your ownership of the current tokens.

There's a great how-to in this Steemit article.

this too explain well

its important because now, all you have is an ER20 token on the Ethereum blockchain.

the eos blockchain is not yet live

so, you need to "register" or "map" your ER20 token addresss, so that, when the EOS blockchain goes live , you get an equivalent amount of EOS tokens on  the new blockchain

think of it this way

right now you have a receipt of purchase, but you need to submit it to collect

submission is registering before July 2018

A simple word to reflect the relationship between ethereum and eos is really simple, There was no ethereum project and there will be no smartcontract has been deployed, There is no ethereum and there will be no eos project.
There is no eos project and the ethereum and smartcontract will always be there. I just see the eos project as another copycat that claimed to make a big upgradable to the smartcontract.  Roll Eyes

INSIDER: THE EOS CONTROVERSY, STEEMIT & A WORLD OF CRYPTO

In this out of the ordinary interview I speak with Justin, who is known on Steemit as "Official Fuzzy", he's the co-founder of Bitshares, he also happens to know Dan Larimer, the founder of Steemit and Bitshares, very well. Justin addresses some of the questions and "red flags" about the EOS offering. We also discuss the good - and bad sides of Steemit, and cryptos in general. Crypto and blockchain technology offers humanity a duality: The possibility of total freedom, or total enslavement.
