We should listen to both the sides, before supporting one side without giving an opportunity for the rival group. It seems to me that the protesters were a bunch of violent thugs, and they provoked this reaction from the pro-Erdogan guys.

Audiovisual analysis of footage recorded at the Turkish embassy on Tuesday sheds light on the verbal commands given by Turkey’s president prior to his bodyguards’ attack on a group of Kurdish protesters.

A professional sound editor named Salih Ferad conducted the analysis on behalf of The Daily Caller.

Using noise reduction and volume enhancement techniques, Ferad determined that Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s security detail shouted out the phrases “he says attack” and “come, come, come” as they charged the protesters.

The battle cries came just after Erdogan appeared to relay orders to his personal bodyguard while sitting in the back of a black Mercedes Benz outside of the embassy.

We do not know what is the real score on that event. Either the news is true and unbiased or it was made and financed by a third party against the President. But given that the report was true it is very unethical for a president to harass or to hurt the protesters who are not doing a riot or violent acts against the president. It may truly be a sign of an abuse to authority if the news was really correct and certain.

The current American president (Donald Trump) is very sympathetic to the Kurds. They should make the maximum advantage out of this, and demand an autonomous state for the Kurds in South-east Turkey.

Erdogan would never agree to this and would more likely repeat the Armenian genocide on the Kurds than give them independence. However maybe if they can figure something out with Iraq and Syria and create an autonomous Kurdistan there Turkey will be more likely to agree to some compromise. As it is now they don't even acknowledge the existence of the Kurdish ethnic group.

Turkey is against the creation of an independent or autonomous Kurdistan in Northern Syria. Moreover, the Kurdish faction in Syria (YPG) is closely affiliated with the PKK (which is classified as a terrorist organization in Turkey).

Doesn't feel like a dictatorship if he is looking out for the interests of your particular group.

I am worried for Turkey - I have met some great people there.

that's how the dictator gets started. and before you know his own particular group is getting their asses purged alongside everyone else.

These events are starting to remind me of the rise of Hitler. I hope this guy shoot himself in the head much sooner than the former.

Why the locals do not resist. They don't see it. And about the coup and the rigged referendum. Maybe they want to live in a dictatorship. Many Muslims are like when in power in the country is a dictator. Then they don't need to think. They said that they do.

Well said. This is the truth. Erdogan is nothing more but crazed maniac. I bet he orchestrated that failed military coup to be able to cleanse all his political opponents:
judges, procurators, lawyers, soldiers and policemen, the people in the right places who could - in the right time oppose his dictatorship.
Turkey slowly become controlled by radical Islam, Recently they started to censor Wikipedia and social networks. It's not exactly a healthy environment.
