   I'm tired of trying for the moment.

   I did get bitcoin-qt to run, and update the blockchain.

   Armory 0.96.1 still locks with the QT complaint so for
now no Armory.

  Armory can be removed at any time, either through your package
  manager, or through the following command:
      sudo dpkg -r armory

   ......But still get the QT complaint.

   OK...downloaded brand new 96.1.

   Rebooted system before install with dpkg -i.

   Installed new 96.1.

   Said 96.1 installed with no errors.

   Would not launch from desktop.

   Tried launching using sux....no luck...error still:

   Qt: Session management error: Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed.

   Hi Again,

   Reboot seems to have not only changed my desktop, but
96.1 install didn't get far enough to update logs.

   Message I'm getting is:

   Qt: Session management error: Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed.

   I checked for date on the logs, and none dated 08-01-17 ?
Last dated logs were 07-31-17.

   This just gets weirder & weirder.

    Couple of suggestions when searching, was to delete .sessions
which had no effect...still getting above error.

   Then try re-install of 96.1 to see if anything changes.

Downgrading won't fix anything. Use 0.96.1.

If you want help, post your logs in full.

 Now armory_0.95.1_amd64.deb is doing the same
thing:

   Now I'm really frustrated .

   Hi Again...I tried install of 96.1, and it wouldn't install or run.

   ArmoryQt.py:5906 - Socket already in use.

   Also, it seems it is looking in the wrong directories for
the armory executable on Debian Stretch amd64.

   I will keep trying, or downgrade my armory to:

  armory_0.95.1_amd64.deb

   I've been trying to get armory_0.96 to run for over a week.

   Have completely removed & reinstalled multiple times
with no luck so far.

   The first time was the only time it seemed to be spawning
database until it had some kind of read/write error then hung.

   Now it doesn't even start that process just gives this error:

   I have double checked my Armory settings for correct
settings on my system.

   Also, have used killall -9 ArmoryDB couple of times, as well
as checked whether bitcoind was running or not.

   I'm out of ideas at this point ?

   Any kelp would be appreciated.
