Nah, it's because the pic is too large. Try scaling it down. I've tried it on my own profile and it does not work too.is this for being newbie?

It seems that you're uploading from your own computer. Is the picture too large? Try uploading it to http://imgur.com/ , copying the link given, and pasting the link at the "I have my own pic" option.
Are you uploading it from your computer, or are you adding it from a link to a website?
