Or this is an installer that you downloaded from an old PC and you are trying to install it to your new PC?
If this is an Electrum installer standalone that you downloaded from an old PC before then maybe the installer is corrupted.
Electrum offers three different versions for their apps:

  • A portable app
  • An installer for Windows
  • A standalone app

The portable is self-explanatory. The Windows installer has to be installed on the computer before it can be used. The standalone file doesn't require any installation. You just double-click on it and it runs. But it's still gonna look for wallet files in the standard Electrum location. That's probably what caused OPs  errors.

You should use the portable version or run it as portable (-P) because the stand-alone will use the default data directory.
Thank you all fixed when I changed the standard alone to portable version.
-snip-
I copied all folder from C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Electrum into FD (Flash Disk) and was downloaded portable version, I don't have problem right now. I just see 2 folder electrum on my FD.
I think what actually fixed the main issue is when you re-download a new exe file.
The other problem that was addressed by the portable version is the stand-alone is actually using the electrum data directory in the PC where it is connected,
browsing to the wallet's directory (in your case, the copied files in the flash drive) will work but isn't "clean" since it will leave settings and other data in the PC where it's connected.

Anyways now that it works, you just have to organize the Flash Drive because having two electrum-related folders is disorganized.
The Portable version is actually using the folder "electrum_data" as the data directory.

You should copy the contents from the 'other folder' and paste-overwrite it to electrum_data folder (if the wallets doesn't have a backup, make one before doing so).
After that, if Electrum didn't find your wallet (due to wallet previously opened from the other folder), just browse to the correct folder.
Once it's good, you can now delete the other folder, your Flash Drive should only have "electrum_data" folder and "Electrum-portable.exe" file.
Now it should work to any PC plug&play as long as it can run Electrum (only use your PCs for security reasons).

Thank you all fixed when I changed the standard alone to portable version.

You may also place on that flash drive your old wallet files so that portable version could control your funds.
You should copy data inside that folder and if you want to use Electrum with flash drive then use portable version only, but make sure you only download it from official website and verify GPG signatures.

I copied all folder from C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Electrum into FD (Flash Disk) and was downloaded portable version, I don't have problem right now. I just see 2 folder electrum on my FD.

This is not an Electrum software error. It's an error with the way Electrum was packaged in the ZIP executable.
I just succefull copied .exe and folder to FD.
but the program running well before, I don't get it after running it from FD in my new pc.

Are you talking about copying files from program files(from old pc) and you are trying to open it into your new PC?
Or this is an installer that you downloaded from an old PC and you are trying to install it to your new PC?
I trying open from fd into my new pc and i don't instaling in a new pc.

If this is an Electrum installer standalone that you downloaded from an old PC before then maybe the installer is corrupted.

So your option here is to redownload the file directly from electrum.org if the error still exist then try to download the portable and test if you still have this error.

This is not an Electrum software error. It's an error with the way Electrum was packaged in the ZIP executable.

"invalid distance code" means the binary can't be decompressed. It is common to put programs in a SFX (self-extracting executable) format where you wrap the program in a ZIP or RAR archive and then embed a program that decompresses this stream of bytes. Nearly all installer programs are like this BTW.

Since 4.1.5 was released just 25 days ago, maybe it's a bug in their packaging (they use custom packaging code written in  Python in their build pipelines) so you should file a Github issue about this.

what can I do?, should I copy it to a new pc or download new software from electrum.org?
Data for standalone Electrum wallet is still on your hard drive with your operating system (Windows in your case) in ...AppData\Roaming\Electrum folder, and it is not meant to be portable.
You should copy data inside that folder and if you want to use Electrum with flash drive then use portable version only, but make sure you only download it from official website and verify GPG signatures.

- Electrum standalone 4.1.5

what can I do?, should I copy it to a new pc or download new software from electrum.org?

but I'm very confident when running it on a flash disk.
You should use the portable version or run it as portable (-P) because the stand-alone will use the default data directory.
The portable will use the flash drive as the data directory: "electrum_data" folder where the executable is.

I have no idea about the error, but it's not exclusive to electrum and it may have been corrupted during the transfer.
