They should just make it 360 seconds for the account no matter what IP as it isn't hard to login on a phone or change your IP with a VPN and bypass this rule.

Does that really work?
Log in with IP 1 and then you can make a post right away with IP 2?  Huh
I doubt it. It probably restricts both IP and account wise, simply associating your IP once you use it with an account. Although you can try.

It is a little bit hard for me to test it, considering I need to switch the IP within 8 seconds (my current posting limit) lol. Tongue

I think when you reach 16 + activity you will have to wait much less seconds and from member status It will be only few seconds so you will probably never get this again.

This is for people under 14 activity
Prevents spam
14 x 6 mins = 90 minutes until your restrictions are gone assuming you make a it's every 6 minutes + logging in restriction and assuming you do not send any PM's

Hi,

I've tryed to reply on a thread. But I've got the error message "My IP Adress send's a message less then 360 ago".
But I never post here before and I've changed my IP already.

Could you please look up this issue ?

The time will decrease as you gain more activity. It's there as an anti-spam measure.

It's not an issue. It's a feature. "Last message" includes logging in, sending PMs, searching, etc.
I think that searching is counted separately. I think the timer restarts for "posting" whenever you login, post or send a PM. AFAIK a separate timer is used when you search.
