It blows my mind that anyone would dream of using an escrow they couldn't verify several years of successful history. I quite often see people pop up on here pointing to some rando website wondering whether they should take the plunge. You need a little bit more than just... being a website.

I would only go through someone on here or a place endorsed or run by a bulletproof crypto operation like Gemini or Grayscale. If some nobody on Telegram pointed me towards somewhere I'd never heard of I'd tell them it would be the escrow of my choice or no deal.
Same thoughts!

I would definitely do the same when it comes to escrow choices then that one would really depend into my own choice
and wont tend out to make use or take on what others do suggest on and getting it from somebody in Telegram?

Answering on topic where i do hear about Legacy Trust HK but still i wont easily tend to use up these service though.

I can't find helpful information about the sites mentioned above. Personally, i didn't hear about them before. I did always thought that users use local escrows for fast exchanges or a trusted party like forum escrows or a well known platform like Bitrated which is running since 2013.
Like everything in finance, it's always risky, especially when to deal for big amounts.
With escrow services, at some point, user will need to trust a third party entity with his funds, so some risks still remains .

Not sure why would anyone use these platforms for selling or buying BTC, when there are many OTC platforms that could facilitate that process.
I have no clue, and I am not sure enough that I will do trade using those platforms. I am more comfortable using the forum escrow if I really need to use any because they are not satisfied enough looking at my profile.

I don't know if they are legit but recently a scam method has been broke out with such a escrow system where you will certainly be ripped off. Scammers own an website and ask other party to deposit their BTC or show a balance of their BTC in the website which is nothing but a figure. Better you stay sticky with forum escrow service.
Yeah, I am well aware about this kind of strategies. I am glad that I am not a newbie LOL

It seems like Legacy trust HK has a partnership with Ledger:

As for Velo trust, I couldn't find anything about it, except for an article (press release) on Bitcoinist.

a, 10K bitcoin seller, selling via Legacy Trust HK
b, 5K bitcoin seller, selling via Velo Trust

The above are two escrow service providers.

I approached this user to talk about buying some BTC for a connection I have. After talking to the guy on telegram I learned about those escrow. Obviously I am not comfortable to use any other form of escrow which are outside the forum. The least I will do is to use any of the forum users' escrow service if anyone hesitates to trust my account of course.

My question is - have you heard about these escrow service listed above? I have no clue about them. According to the buyer, these are well reputed escrow out there.
