or bisq.

Thanks, I had forgotten about Bisq. That may be another good option. Someone else also told me about Paxful.

No I don't really know. I'd say watch the board as threads come and go, see what people are up to, but don't believe a word of it.
Don't be in a hurry or talk of building your rep up, or people will be sceptical.
At the same time if you want to get on and get some, look at exchanges or bisq.

Couple of escrow lists. Note: hover your pointer over the dotted line under the creation date to see when a post was edited.
As to the rest, I'm not sure you can sensibly trade here with cc or pp. Some of the exchanges take cc's but then you have to trust all that and it'll be pricey.
Anyone help advise this fellow?

Thank you! Much appreciated!

Can you say what are the preferred methods of fiat payment most crypto sellers are likely to accept?

Hello all,

There was a post I found on the forum once that someone was kind enough to make, which was a detailed list of trusted forum members who provide escrow for transactions between other forum members. It showed what escrow fee they charged, the minimum transaction amount required and other useful info. I'm having a hard time remembering where or how I found that thread, and wonder if anyone knows and can drop a link here.

Also, as a newbie, what do you recommend is the best way to get started with making some currency trades with other members. Right now I'm interested in buying btc, but only have funds available from paypal or credit card. I understand the risks involved in these methods, (chargebacks) that others should rightfully be wary of, but nonetheless that's the only way for me to pay right now. I'm obviously a newbie so I want to start building up some trust so this becomes less of an issue. What advice do you suggest to get started?
