I have asked the seller to provide a picture to prove possession of product. Not just stock photo. Lemme get back to you on the BIP. Need to read up on that. But thanks for all the heads up guys. Nice to see community helping other newer members.

And who might that have been? The entire point of an escrow is that BOTH the buyer AND the seller trust it. If only the seller trusts it, how does the buyer know whether or not the escrow is just another sockpuppet of the seller?The idea is that you are using a NEUTRAL third party to hold something during the transaction, and to arbitrate any disputes that may arise.

You can try asking reputable people like hashking (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/hashking-50347), Patrickharnett (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/patrickharnett-26841) to see if they'll be the escrow. They run Bitcoin lending services, and have offered their services as escrow holders too.
