2-of-3 signing does not imply the need of a third party for escrow.  the buyer and seller are two parties.  when they agree, the funds can release.
The fact that 2-of-3 is not implemented in any client is costing the bitcoin user community thousands of dollars every day.

John K is recommend. However, he has a lot of demand and may be busy which could reflect on the time which the money is stored and released. There are different alternatives. However, you should read all the reviews and judge for yourself. If John K is available and he says he can be, then you should go with him. However, these are the other alternatives (Be careful always and judge for yourself):

Dabs - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/escrow-service-by-dabs-234939

Dabs is also a very respected member.

MMO Escrow - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/escrow-by-maidakreg-2011-1-fee-icoipocontestscampaigns-247-service-133985

Also, have done very high amounts.

How about Dooglus of Just-Dice who is holding over 50k Bitcoins for investors.  He has processed withdrawals as large as 8k bitcoins.  Very trustworthy.

I just did a quick search and the people that I know have had successful trades.

Why not just use bitcoins inbuilt escrow system to do a multi signature transactions?

See here for more info: https://blockchain.info/wallet/escrow

You need a third party for that. You need 2 out of 3 people to control the funds.

I'd recomend reading our list first before choosing any escrow...

Thread: Escrows' Reputation: Whitelist Ranking | Blacklist too.

Thanks for pointing this out.   Wish I had seen it before.   I tried to get a hold  of some of the usual suspects for escrow but everyone seems to be busy.   This gives me a few other to try.

cheers.

John K is my recommendation. I have not used him personally, but have dealt with people who were very happy with his services.

He is also an administrator of this website

Hello,

I am looking to do a bigger transaction - about 300btc  - for a short period of time. I am looking for a highly reputated member to do the escrow. Where can I find one?
