I assume you are located in the US? I see your location is "in the US". I would not want to have to export to in turn have you re-import items to the US.
I understand that you would want to charge a fee if I send the miner to you for you to pass along to the customer. Fair bit more work on your part. So you would ask the customer to pay you to cover shipping from you to them. You'de have to get the shipping rate based on your location to them. Makes sense.
Do you have an idea what amount you would want in that case? Say for a single miner and PSU? I mean, I assume it would really be on an individual basis - 1 miner, 3 miners, psu, etc... Would be more or less difficult and time-consuming to deal with - but just to give me an idea.
I appreciate your time answering my questions - other escrowers have been less than accommodating.

What happens if the customer says they didn't get it or it was not what they thought it was or something to that effect? In other words, how do I keep protected from them trying to scam by not acknowledging receiving the item? That's why I was wondering if the item goes to you first, then to them. I am trying to get lined up to sell Antminer S9 units and related parts. They are so expensive right now for on hand units. I think there are as many scammers selling as there are scammers buying.
I have had a friend sell the unit with a PSU - and clarified that it did not come with a power cord, but the customer was all upset that it did not come with a power cord which caused them lost earnings, etc... but refused to send the item back for a refund and still lodged a complaint with my friends selling platform (dhgate.com). Scammers can always find a way to argue some irrational point - or even just uneducated customers.
I'm just interested in how things of this nature are handled- the safer for everyone the better. These are large ticket items - and I want smooth, easy, and protected sells - which in turn should make the buyers happy.

Well, in this case an investigation is opened. In case of a dispute, both parties supply elements to help me decide what to do with the coins.
We can also put another chain in place : you can send the miner to me so I reship to the buyer. When I receive the hardware, I send you the BTC and resend the parcel to the buyer. Tracked & insured if buyer wants it that way. If you think these terms are acceptable, you can conduct business in such a way. We can try with one item first, then you'll see.
In this case, to do physical escrow, I will ask you for a fee.
I want to help you make your business easier.

I am offering a safe escrow service. That means I can act as a 3rd party in transactions to make any deal on this forum easier.
All funds will be stored on a Trezor wallet. The recovery seed (words) have been encrypted and stored in a safe and fireproof place.
I am able, and would be delighted to participate in multi-signatures escrows. I can also properly secure an amount for an ICO, a signature or bounty campaign, and many more !
Please carefully read the terms, and follow the instructions in the "How does it works" section if you agree and want to proceed further.
This service used to be free but as of the 24th of July 2018, this service becomes a paid service.
Terms :
- Send bitcoins or altcoins ONLY to addresses signed by 1yogg7RkwrSsh1UNi5jw3oUALHBaP4KrX.
- The fee for my service is 1% of the escrowed amount or 0.002BTC, whatever is higher.
- This is not a banking service. If the trade duration exceeds 30 days, I will take 1% of the escrowed amount every 15 days, effective after the initial 30 days period.
- The seller will receive the full amount sent by buyer. Outgoing transactions fees are included within the service price.
- The amount will be released from the escrow upon buyer's confirmation ONLY, or in any other case fitting an agreement that has been planned prior to the transaction.
- I reserve the right to deny any escrow request I dislike, without justification. I do not escrow accounts or digital goods (such as giftcards). Please do not contact me for these as these requests will be automatically denied.

- Once your request has been properly submitted and accepted, I will contact the other party to confirm the transaction.
- Both parties have to confirm the transaction before I ask buyer to send the payment to one of the labeled addresses below.
- When the transactions is confirmed, I will inform seller that I have received the payment from buyer, so he can deliver.
- When the buyer has received what he bought, then I will release the payment to seller.
- In case of a dispute, I will ask both parties to provide elements backing their claims. I may turn towards the community to help me decide what to do.
