Mining uses low bandwidth, even my old 3G Cell measured connection was "fast enough" and had plenty of cap space available.

This is a question that has been asked a BUNCH of times before, it would be nice if folks would try READING the forums before asking this sort of MANY TIMES ANSWERED question.

Latency and stability are more important than bandwidth. A home connection would be fine for even a competitive amount of hashrate, thing is if the pool your miners are communicating with is too far away from you then you'd better pick another one. That's why pools nowadays offer EU, NA and a variety of servers to pick from.

Anyone has some figures about the volume of internet data (dl+ul) needed to mine on a pool per month?
I'm asking because I have an idea to try to mine in a country where power is very cheap but internet very expensive and rationed.

The internet usage volume is very small. But you need low latency.

on windows 10 you can easily check this by running any miner and look for the value you get under taskmanager, with resource monitor

we are talking about few byte per sec for an altcoin mining, i doubt bitcoin mining move away so much from this

i think the miner speed is irrelevant for newtwork traffic generated.
internet traffic for miner is generally minimal.
maybe you are asking that for mining over a VPS service?
