Yes I have been wondering this myself. I even think the DAO attacker is a bitcoin maximalist who is trying to prove a point. That is why my theory still stands. The attacker will convert ETC to ETH and then dump all the ETH he has for BTC.

Agree. The liquidity provided by the two other exchanges with probably make the price dip a bit, but I don't know, I think the people are embracing the unmolested chain for ideological reasons, and most importantly, because the difficulty is shit right now on ETC. Easy to mine, and people are.buying it? We will see how this turns out Grin

I know this is a good news for some. But the bad news is Ethereum classic's mining hashrate is going down. If the exchanges commit to this and list it, they should provide mining power too. It will be useless to offer this vulnerable coin for trading.
