Constantinople will prepare the network for future implementation of proof of stake, it is not becoming a POS coins now. It had been delayed many times already

When ethereum goes pos it means the miners can switch to an alternative coin to mine. If they switch to bitcoin then the difficulty levels will rise again along with the price, this means both will benefit

Many questions, but I will answer the one I know. ETC Classic Vision this is not a hard fork is a conventional token which is handed out to 3 ETC to 1 ETH but I think that the spread will not be! I saw in telegram chat developers sell 50 ETC for 1 ETH and it's scary, but most importantly they ask to transfer your private key from MEW ! Make a conclusion my friend !

It is not ETC, it is ETCV!

No I don't think so. In these circumstances, energy consuming is a big problem. And ETH will be solved this problem with POS.

ETH network has a good support. And so many node will be created ASAP. So I don't think there will be a attack from %51.

It is not still possible to %51. (these are mine opinions)

And last, Ethereum has a great community support and Buterin (very, very clever man). Everything is possible with these.

In the case of the 51% attack on ETC, the hackers were able to just purchase all of the hashpower needed through Nicehash.
There's a possibility that Dash could become the next POW coin for which such an attack is possible.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see another one in the near future.

I think 51% attack is not easy for big coins and eth is one of the biggest and it requires massive resources, investment and then followed by price crash so i do not think any wise person will try to attempt it on any big coin.

Yeah Constantinople is the official hard fork of ethereum. You don't get any coin from this hardfork. It's just a upgradation of ecosystem. And the team already announced ethereum 2.0 and scalability issues. So I am as a ethereum holder is very happen. But devs also announced that it will take time to shift to post at least 8-12 monts after Constantinople hardfork.

Why would a big holder of a coin collude to attack it? That's the reason why POS is considered an upgrade to POW in Ethereum.

glad to see, a few days when I discussing about Hardfork/HF please always it needed look like information, technical, etc right!! Hardfork will improve the ecosystem by little be better, for me the most important things ethereum was need to expand to scalability, pos and ETH 2.0.

It has a possibility for ETC to fork its blockchain, but the probability for it to do that is not that hight. Not much of people supporting that project and it will not change anything.
that Nowa thing is a fake, there is no official hardfork for both of them ETC and ETH.
This hardfork is not a transition my friend, the PoW will change into PoS later on after this hardfork.

Ethereum classic vision and ethereum nowas are very well known by a lot of people as scam forks. Don't mind both these shitty platform.

POS coin used stake as the main measure and it looks possible to do 51% attack by owned more than 51% but remember it looks like the double spend is not possible.

It's possible as long as ASIC is not blocked. ASIC miners have become the main problem in this case. Ethereum will have used hybrid system which gives the more protection to the blockchain from 51% attack.
