Just bought some ETC. Hoping to see a 10usd price anytime soon.
This can happen but first Bitcoin must stop with its rise, I will wait little more for price drop, BTC is heading to 1500$ and beyond, this will cause panic very soon among investors. If BTC surprise us even more, expect major alts-crash.

@topesis. Well all the cryptocoins that have no usefulness in the real world are all in a speculative bubble. Some are in a bigger bubble than others. Ethereum classic is still in the early stages of a bubble, so it is a good time to buy now and then worry later.

Anyone calling ETC a bubble what will you call, Dash, ETH, Ripple, LTC, Stratis etc. the price is relatively stable because the developmental work is on going, this should easily go to $10 in 2 to 3 months time. I like what the team is doing not relying on hype to build up the price

@Nagadota. It would be great if it is predictable enough to make the small fluctuations worth it. But why trade ETC when there are other cryptocoins that are more volatile and will give you more profit?

ETC is a boring coin. It just stays there for a long time without any fluctuation. It reminds of buying LTC for 4 dollars which is a good buy but be prepared to hold for months if not a year before something big happens to the price of the coin. I don't like to hold any coin for such a long time so I avoid buying this coin.
Actually, it just has loads of little fluctuations instead of giant swings.  It would be great for day trading with a bot or something.

@shanem. Does that mean ETC is a better made as a long term investment compared to the rest of the cryptocoins? The only known whale that I know of that supports ETC is Barry Silbert. He is already setting up a trust investment for it. https://grayscale.co/ethereum-investment-trust/

Maybe this is something that we should look into.

ETC is totally different from ETH, which is not a company by the way. Their price is most of the time not correlated. If I got your point, your sense of bubble was that it is isolated, and if it is true, you are right. There is two separeted markets and prices, though most of the Ethereum (ETH) trader can also be Ethereum Classic (ETC) traders.

I think there will be movement in  ETC in next months, for example because of the Ethereum Investment Trust launched by Grayscale.
Just google for more info about it. Anyway in my oppinion there is no bubble right now.

I think there is no movement in ETC, whether ETC belongs to ETH company?
Is it completely different from ETH because we don't see any price movements in the market.
Can anyone share your ideas about ETC?

When you ask whether ETC belongs to ETH company, it makes me laugh.
Why are you worried about a bubble when you say that there is no movement in ETC?
