This coin returns to life. ETC was without any significant movement for a long time and many people loss their confidence in it. But today the development team is doing everything possible to modernize ETC and make it interesting for people.
I already lost faith in this coin. But now I see that it is becoming popular again. Many analysts say that the price of ETC this year will increase several times.

I agree that Ethereum Classic will be a big one for miners and also investors. There is a hard fork in March which is really important. Moreover ETC price did not pump for some reason in the past month. I believe February will be great for Ethereum Classic. We may see a decrease just after the fork but later will be fine also.
I also think that 2018 will be the year of Smart Contracts and specially for Ethereum. If Ethereum increases in price, people will be interested in ETC also which will make the price go higher.

I am less so understanding about mining, because I am just a trader trying to analyze the price development of a coin for the future.

I m a strong supporter of ETC and lot of events lined up for etc in 2018.
I was following etc last year. Especially after barry joined their crew i though that etc price will go to moon very soon. but etc started to be a p&d coin instead of a stable strong coin. I dont know what happens this year.
Personally as an ETH miner i recently switched to ETC because the air drop/new block chain will definitely bring the price up. I'm just going to cash out and sell it for ETH anyway.
Also according to what to mine at $40 ETC is just as profitable as ETH for mining and I just see the value of the FOMO that's going to happen the next few weeks.

ETC is a copy from ETH, but that story is long time ago and now ETC project is become very success. The future of ETC starting now and the price will to the moon soon

A lot of good news right now on CLASSIC. A new purse in March and so on. Because of the problems in ethereum and run the transition to POS. problems can occur and all will go to ETHEREUM CLASSIC. No, forget about such thing, ETC is a good coin, it is underestimated since ETH has most of the icos coming on their platform but we are not going to get such a ridiculous growth if that is what you want buy cheap coins, there is always new cheap coin coming so do not waste your time waiting for something it is not going to happen. so many big events this year, is it possible to boost ETC to 20x or even 50x?

Im tired of waiting the growth, but i still believe in ETC and like that , because it is true ethereum , decentralized. I hope next year will be not just the year of altcoins but also the year of ETC. I have 200 coins, not a lot, but for perspective this looks not bad. Im waiting at least 100$ per each next half a year.

ETC will be a good coin in the making, I am sure it can go big in coming future.
i'm expecting a lot from ETC, if they find a way to differentiate from ETH doing something different it has all the cards to be huge, starting from the airdrop that will occur in march!

It's been a long time since ETC was mentioned. I think it's time for ETC to say that we can do more. ETC is the origin of ETH, ETH was born of ETC and it is developing very strongly under the leadership of Vitalik. So for ETC to regain its position, it needs a clear and specific strategy to get more support from investors.

A lot of people are saying that will be a giant one during this year, and that the price will probably climb towards $50 before February, so yes, probably it will be worth more than $100 before the end of the year if everything goes well.
If everything goes well Ethereum will be 10k. That's why ETC not be by $100? But I not see any reason for huge pump or strong growth. Nothing. I would like to be wrong but now it's so
Of course, Ethereum have always been a coin that has a brighter future. So it won't be a surprise if it booms.with the recent event of upcoming ICOs that needs Ethereum to set up their coins, it is indeed making ways for Ethereum. But what I can't say for sure is that if it will enter or will reach a massive price of $10,000 or even $20,000. But it will grow or pump this year, we might be looking or closing the year with a price of 5000$ if I am not been over predictive or so.

Ethereum classic is forked from ethereum it will goes up i believe but to beat ethereum its not possible. I bet it will touch 1:10 ethereum price. But not bigger then ethereum. The moat interesting next event is hard fork for etc. And we can get a coin we could stake with. I my self really like stake coin. Thats why i accumulate etc untill march 2018 and snap shoot for hard fork.

Definitely, ETC will catch the path of Ethereum as it is the creation of fork of Ethereum. Most of the ICO creator now using ETH blockchain may be in future ETC blockchain will be prefered by the token creator hence the demand will grow for ETC.

I don't think so. ETC doesn't offer anything like ETH and smart contracts and ICOs.
Yes, we may see some price peak after ETH switch to POS, but that's all.
ETC is now at low position, and has very good buy zone. In the future if eth go to 3k, that one would go to 5x- 6x more from todays price
I like the Ethereum classic, a lot of good and important news for the coin. The analysts 50-100$. Will wait for spring)
I doubt it will ever beat Ethereum but we could see some nice gains with ETC. There are better coins out there tho.
Well 50x would be huge!! But I think that’s not very likely in my opinion, it would be 1500 and that’s a lot, maybe if all the market grows and eth goes at least at 10000\15000. Personally I believe that etc might explode in the next months, I will hold it till at least 120/150. Look how it holded the price during the fall of the past days, it’s ready to mooning!

I'm agree with this statement. Although we don't know when ETH will transfer to POS. The price from ETH is very stable. Maybe there is a lot of new token use ETH for their platform? But hopefully ETC will profitable like ETH too. Unfortunately I'm new miner and not mine with ethash algorithm (LOL)

Oh I didnt know about the airdrop in March, what do i need to do to receive the airdrop coin ? Should I have Etc in my wallet to join the airdrop ?
But yeah I think it's a good coin but ETH is better in my opinion.

they should come up with some new functionality which will be proven to be a great improvement in order to do that.
I think ETC classic really miss the opportunity to be the big player in the space, NEO is now the main rival to Ethereum, lack of foucus from the team just look at C. Hoskinson is now into 2 to 3 projects altogether, this to me is worrisome
On the Internet there was a news about hard fork ETC on March 5, 2018. As a result, ETC holders will receive a free coin ETC Callisto Sidechain in a 1: 1 ratio. Maybe this will give impetus to the growth of ETC.
Offcourse they are going to distribute the Airdrop but the problems where we have store ETC in order to ETC Callisto because this thing should be revealed before taking the snapshot. So that people will move to the desired wallet and hold the coin until they get the Airdrop.
