So the price is going down but the difficulty is going up. This has no sense. I have some scenarios but I'm not sure, can someone give a better explanation?

1. Difficulty grows because of ASICs
2. GPU miner move from mining Zcash & others (because the mining is not profitable anymore, so #1 again)
3. Something else above my knowledge.
The price is going down caused by these icos have been liquidating so many ethereum to the market directly. About the ethereum mining the the difficult is no yet increased, it has expected to be increased from 3 ethereum per block to the 0.6 ethereum per block but there was no ETA when that will be happened consider ether core developer has released the latest news about the byzantium upgrade and it might give another delay to the ice age update.

I think the singular important factor in relation to mining difficulty is because of dump of dump in price of ethereum in the market. The current price of ethereum doesn't justify the mining difficulty hence the frustrations for the miners!

First of all ETH price is go up again. As I know its try to improve the technical sectors that why the investor face temporary problem. Some problem comes out because of this reason but I believe soon this problem will solve.

Difficulties grow also for ASICs as well as market volatility and BTC dominance causes some difference in the usual manner of the market though some will say ETH acts opposite to BTC, some relations always remain. ETH will recover.

Maybe I think ICOs causing to drop ETH in this difficult position and it might be in the no.3 of your causes. ICOs are mostly based on ETH exchange and Bitmex a week ago assured in a tweet that there was a huge amount of exchange of ETH-USD.

I think there is no connection between the price and the difficulty it takes to do the mining for Ethereum. I assume you are here talking of mining, right? Anyway, I am not a good in many technical aspects on cryptocurrency much more with the mining technicalities but as far as I know those two are really not connected. These days Ethereum or rather the Eth is taking a strong beating by market forces leading many to assume that we are in the winter season where prices are not just freezing but going down. We just have to remain positive as there can be a big bull run after this...or so I hope.

The price of Eth depends on Btc’s price. Difficulties are also increasing because Etc is getting more competitors. The condition is not good but yes, cryptocurrency is the future.

It is sad to say that it is true. ETH does not have much influence on BTC, but BTC has a lot of influence on ETH. That makes it hard for eth

The whole cryptocurrency market is going bearish right now. The price of ethereum has dropped a lot. But we need to be patient and hold our coins till the right moment comes. The market is facing a difficult situation and the difficulties are increasing day by day.
