Still nothing. Hacker is still at large making money through Ethermine. Wonderful job Ethermine.

Ethermine, I am greatly disappointed in you, mostly because I have to take it publicly like this. I hate it.

Here are two addresses of a hacker that is hacking mostly Hive's rigs and you are not doing anything about it to prevent the hacker from getting paid.

https://ethermine.org/miners/3F9963823d6b75bF28afa738a82b95b2028D6083/dashboard
https://ethermine.org/miners/AfF52f95913B49b963dC98FAF36bAEfff25ab5C7/dashboard

So, the main question is why are you enabling hackers and turning the blind eye to the problem that you are aware of?
You are well aware of it so you can't deny that you didn't know. Also by now it's a public knowledge as everyone is talking about the hacks.

I've reported it to you via tickets and also Discord, but you didn't put any effort into it.

For everyone else, check the two addresses and make sure your rig is not on the list. If it is, reflash the rig and protect your network.

And for Ethermine, we will think if we still want to keep your pool as a default option for our customers or not.

ethermine.org gives you 30% less income than it should be! I thought for a long time that whattomine is wrong, then I switched to sparkpool (which is focused only on Asia and there is too much ping for Europe, so the percentage of stale shares is high) and the income began to match the indications of whattomine!
i.e. 8% is stale shares and 1% mining software fee then ethermine.org has a real pool fee of 21%!!!!!

Dear Sirs,

I am not sure whose bright idea was it to remove average hashrate from the first screen of my dashboard. Must be someone who never had a single rig. Now we can not see from the first page if something is wrong with the rig, but we have to click on every single rig to see and compare. Please bring that back, because you made our life much easier, and considering we actually pay you for using your pool, you could have left us at least an option to switch to old dashboard. And yes, the first version of the dashboard that you changed months back, was actually a polished gem. This one is crap packed like a xmas gift.

Their luck states that it is 99% but over the last 1000 blocks (ETC) it is at 1266%........Are these guys skimming something......How would you get 1266% over 1000 blocks.

Thoughts on the stability of the SSL connections on Claymore 11.x?

I have found that using the new encryption results in unstable connections. Rigs randomly stop mining/freeze. When I revert to the old port 4444 rigs are very stable.

I'm a noob

Been mining on 1 MSI RX580 GPU at 24+ Mh/s via Claymore on epool us1.ethermine.org:4444 with my proper wallet address from myetherwallet.com (not spoof site) for 60+ hours with no payout.  When might I expect to see one?

Hello world!
Can anyone explain me!?
I switched to Poole, ethermine.org everything was fine, lifted 0.51 ether for the first time, then the unintelligible purse took 0.01659 and today ether 0.089 wrote to customer support-until the silence
---  0.089 + 0.01659 = 0.10559 ether - 91$  - I believe that this famously?
Anyone that can advise?

Hello everyone. Today I looks to stats on my balance and saw that it have been smaller. I checked payouts and see last payout was yesterday but didn't receive that yet

qoute from ethermine:
We are currently in the process of a one time payout of all balances above 0.01 ETH. That is why your account may have been paid out before reaching the configured payment threshold. All fees for those transactions are paid by the pool

Good evening. Im using claymore on both PC to mine on this pool. But 2-10 times per day it can just stop doing anything. Just nothing happened. then when i click anything in miner windows (s for example) it reload and go ahead. But if im unable to check my miner it can stay passive during long period of time... Problem is that when im using another pool i never had such problem ;(

I typically have 3% invalid shares on Ethermine.  Seems high to me.

And I just restarted mining on Ethermine after taking a break.  Out of the first 10 shares I already have 1 stale.   After my next payout I am done with them.

Scam pool, do not want return money.
I think in another situation. Most likely, the pool itself decided on all this - it's easier to answer the template by all and do not translate anything to anybody - wrote out the template phrase - and the money is intact. The Exchange will not be opened - it's good - they'll take the money. They will open the stock exchange .. the identity is good - scammers will not get anything ... just do not look solid well .. but only bitches have not considered that the FBP will not give a private key and that with their pattern of excuses they simply say "go fuck" not to see you dough. I write because the same situation - first they say ok - we'll make a one-time shift. - Then they write dick to you. Does not help either the ip or email anything. Even write, let's wait a month for you to make sure that my wallet - that no one will contact you with a request in my wallet - and then give it back - fig there. I'm writing through the tim viver in online access to the mail and look at the IP - they do not need it - they do not want to give money ... they write that scammers wrote to them .. and I'll tell you another thing - they are scammers themselves and decided to cash in. They do not want to look at anything either logs or IPs at all nothing to them stupidly - a template phrase for any argument.

Been using Ethermine for the last 6 days after running on nicehash for a couple of months.

Something I noticed is my estimated earnings is much higher than what I'm actually getting by mining here.
My avarage hashrate for these 6 days has been 350 MH/s and it says I should be netting ~0.09 Ether per day so that would be 0.54 ether in 6 days but so far I have only managed to mine 0.44.

Is it to be expected that the estemate is this far off?

The same in zcash (flypool). I noticed high response time for accepted shares (5000/20000ms) and I fix it with a reboot.

Pools are still working fine

 ****BUT****

Your sites are no longer accessable in Chrome - appears to be an "outdated security" issue perhaps related to the use of the CRACKED RC4 encryption standard.

Your helpdesk site gives an "access interrupted" and does not LOAD error in FireFox - consistantly 100% of the time.

So the pool is down .... "Major issue with geth. Network seems to be under a DOS attack!" the page says.

Wonder if our hashes are still being accounted for?

Time will tell ...

don't think so. my rigs stopped sending shares and stoped hashing. but they will make some reparation I think, like last time. On average according to your performance. eu1 is down, don't know what other servers, but eu2 is running OK. looks like...

same story with ethpool. I use ethpool as primary and ethermine for backup.

... but anyways, seems back to business as my hash is at normal levels now.

Any ideas on how to reduce the number of stale shares submitted?  I am currently getting about a 7% stale rate.  This seems much higher than others that I've compared against.

I have ~60ms latency to us1.ethpool.org and ~80ms latency to us2.ethpool.org.  It does not seem to matter which server I point to.

do users need to turn off the autopayment whilst the hard fork is occurring or will you take care of this for us?  I havent seen much from the pools regarding the payouts during this time. I admit i havent done much digging either. since i mine with you i figured id ask:)

edit nvm just refreshed the page and noticed this.

"Ethereum Hardfork Announcement: According to the voting result (75% of the voted hashrate is in favor of the fork) ethermine.org will be supporting the upcoming Ethereum hardfork! More information on the upcoming fork can be found on the Ethereum blog. As a pool miner you do not need to take any action on your side because of the fork."

Again without a support ticket we are unable to investigate such issue as it is impossible for us to identify your account and check it for any issues (invalid DAG files, ...).

During the creation of the support ticket we collect all relevant information required for us to investigate such issues. This process allows us to process issues in an efficient way.

I'll try if I have the time. It went back to normal after a few hours. Was confirmed pool side though not miner side.

You can now talk to the pool via our brand new telegram bot. You can use it quickly query key indicators of your account (current hashrate, outstanding balance, etc...) and you will automatically receive a notification if one of your workers does not submit a share for more than 30 minutes.

The bot lives under @EthermineBot (weblink: https://web.telegram.org/#/im?p=@EthermineBot)

First you will need to associate your chat with your mining address with the following command:
/register

After that you can use the following commands:
/unregister Unregisters all notifications.
/hashrate Get the current effective hashrate of the registered miner.
/avghashrate Get the current average effective hashrate (24h) of the registered miner.
/balance Get the unpaid balance of the registered miner.
/address Show the current associated address of this chat.

Additionally the bot will send you a message if a worker of the registered address sends no shares for more than 30 minutes.

As many of the ethpool.org users were not happy with the current payment scheme we decided to offer an alternative pool that uses a more traditional reward distribution method. We are happy to announce that our new mining pool - ethermine.org - is now live and ready for mining.

ethermine.org uses the same high performance mining backend as ethpool.org but distributes mining rewards according to the well known PPLNS reward method. The minimum payout amount is 1 Ether and payouts are processed instantly. ethermine.org officially supports ethminer as well as eth-proxy (stratum).

Similar to ethpool.org is provides the following features:
  • Anonymous mining
  • Real time PPLNS payout scheme
  • Accurate hashrate reporting
  • We pay all Ethereum rewards (Blocks, Uncles & Fees)
  • Instant payout (Minimum: 1 Ether, transaction fees paid by the pool)
  • Global mining network with DDOS protected servers in the US, Europe and Asia
  • Full stratum support
  • Efficient mining engine, low uncle rates
  • Detailed global and per-worker statistics
  • Invalid shares warnings
  • Email monitoring

For more info, check out: ethermine.org

Been using this pool since this morning, seems pretty good so far. Payouts also seem a bit above average than I was getting elsewhere, but maybe that's just random luck, I'll wait a few days to see if it holds.

One question though, at the bottom of the worker stats page under Invalid Shares (Experimental) there is a statement:
Quote
You should check a worker if it submitted more than 5 invalid shares!

Does this mean something is wrong after only 5 invalid shares as you have written or did you mean 5%. I have a lot more than 5 invalid shares already after just a few hours, but the invalid percentage is quite low <1%, so I am assuming you meant percentage and not actual shares.

It is about the feature of showing invalid shares.

No. " Invalid Shares (Experimental) " so for all (Invalid / Valid / %)...only QTminer can sent it  Wink

Received shares are not shown if eth-proxy is used, even after 12 hours of mining passed. Neither valid nor invalid.
I can see only my hashrates (reported and effective) and my current balance.
QtMiner is not suitable for me as it does not support failover.

"The feature is only available for workers connected via the stratum protocol using qt-miner or cudaminer (eth-proxy does not support this feature!) "

Announcement: Miners have now the possibility to specify their minimum payment amount. The standard minimum remains set to 1 Ether but it can be reduced up to 0.1 Ether or increased up to 10 Ether. If the amount is set to less than 1 Ether a flat fee of 0.005 Ether will be deducted from the amount to cover the transaction costs. If the amount is 1 Ether or more the tx fee will be paid by the pool. You can customize your minimum payment amount using the "Account settings" tab of your miner page.
