They created that particular data set with the effort they put in, I think they deserve to be paid for what they've done, in the end you're just going to take their data for financial purposes, right?
If true, you should not hesitate to spend some money as an appreciation to them. Sorry I can't help you with this, maybe some people will come and give suggestions as well as I did.

I would like to compile a large Etherum data set that goes back as far as possible.
I'm ready so far, but I just can't find a source where I can find exchange related data, like etherum occurrences on CEXs and such, or futures data, like fundign, OI, liquidations. I came across CryptoQouant in my research, they have such data, but to download it as CSV or to see the whole period you have to pay a lot of money.
So if anyone knows where I can get such data as CSV please write, thanks!!!
