@puremage111. Maybe users and developers are slowly reducing using it because it appears to have the same problems as bitcoin hehehe. Speaking for myself, I know the high fees and slow confirms have made me stopped gambling with bitcoin.

How are the cryptokitties activity? I reckon it was the kitties that caused all Ethereum's high fee problems.

Actually the worst offenders are EtherDelta and the occasional oversubscribed ICO that can paralise the network for a few hours, even a few days. Some exchanges like IDEX use a much more sensible approach, by decentralising the transfers and centralising the orderbook matching.

I still have a pending transaction with 1 Gwei gas prices, it's been 8 days pending and now I'm using 8Gwei for transactions, with 8Gwei transaction confirmed in 30 minutes. In October I can still use 0.5 Gwei for transactions

I think it's nothing to do with kitties, ICOs or some network improvements. As almost all the cryptos were down last week everybody sat still and waited on what would be next. That's probably the reason of decrease in number of transactions and as follows gas price.

If you transfer ETH and with 1GAS, the transaction should be confirmed after 1-2hours. But if you transfer tokens, in most case the transaction will be cancelled.

agree with you, normal gas is 4 gwei, but im confused, is someone can manipulated ethereum network...
and now it is 2
change just a couple hours from the first time post 1 appear
sad that i miss that cheap time to send my token  Grin
but now i know where to look at gas price before sending my token

What happened? Waoh

https://ethgasstation.info/

We still have pending transactions there, however the gas price is just 1 GWEI For standard?
Did the network just improved or what so ever? haha

actually this is very good news,I was also doing a transaction and the transaction process was faster 3 times than usually, however if your transaction is stalled may be Your cell phone signal is not good.

Cryptokitties hype got down weeks ago but yeah, it started of as the Kitties flooded the network Tongue
Now similar games are coming out time by time but seems like Ethereum network would just goes stronger by time

i am not sure cryptokitties is a big problem on eth network.
but i am sure scalability of ETH start looking good.
the price , network system.
everything is on the rise

Today! Gas fee verry lower than before! I don't know but I think is best for fee when sent ETH and token!

yes , and i wish this not for 1 or 2 days  Grin

Cryptokitties isn't an issue no more. There were some other games like tanks and some pokemon game. But I don't think they got close to the popularity kitties had.

I am experiencing the same thing, some transactions are so slow. I try to raise the price of Gass and succeed.
maybe this is a result of hardfork in the future.
I'm sure this will not be long.

The ethereum network is quite temperamental. If you happen to be in the run with a massive ICO just forget about moving your stuff for a decent fee and the opposite is also true, there are valleys in transactions so yes, it could be the case. Just check ethgasstation.
