I have also seen people buying such addresses for 10$ or so but they also ask for the address to have transactions history on uniswap i wonder what they do with these.

I asked a similar question sometime back, and it looks like some people are buying such wallets for future airdrops or tax purposes. The airdrop part does not make sense though, especially since the seller can also have access to the wallet using the private keys.

I don't think there would be any good intentions to buy an old wallet. On the other hand, the seller will always have private key access, which means he can always access the funds as well.
