Increase in price has been the hope of everybody but it seems that would not be the case as the hardfork just happened yesterday but and currently i don't see any major rise in the price of Ethereum. Hopefully it may increase in the next few days.

They already stated that the fork will going to happen on february 28, 2019 then extend again for the second time at march 1. What is that upgrade about? I lost too much while buying ethereum but still extend.

I think we should not expect a price fluctuation at this upgrade, since no new coin will be created, no sense to buy another ethereum in the market to enjoy the fork. Just an upgrade that will going to happen.

Price is a different topic but i think if the upgrades are successful and it impacts the eth network positively by improving the overall efficiency of the eth network then i am sure we are going to see steady growth for eth price in upcoming months for sure but lets wait for the upgrades first.

Yes, this fork will not bring any new coin! Last year Etheeum price collapsed suddenly, and many investors sold their Ethereum, therefore 9in 2018, we have seen Ethereum network slow issues many times. So, this Constantinople hard fork will improve the Ethereum network and ETH blockchain will be upgraded. That's it. Though this is great news for all the ETH supporter but I don't think ETH [price will hit 200 USD because of this hard fork.

You are right, there would be no new coin, but they have promised to make Ether faster, to reduce transactions costs and to reduce the mining reward. Lets just wait and see what happens, around 1 hour till the update.

I don't think this update will have a big impact on prices. it may take longer after hardfork is finished, we can see ethereum prices going up. for now maybe $ 150 is the right target for this week.
Nothing happening due to this hardwork and I feels good for this because people lost interest on these kind of speculation and just concentrating on their long term goals which can make the crypto market as more matured.

Why would those miners do that when all signs indicate that there is a broad consensus in following and supporting this upgrade? They would be mining a coin that they could not sell and that would be worthless. I don't think this is going to happen.

This will not happen because the market is moving after Bitcoin and Ethereum is no exception. The network upgrade itself is not the reason for the coin price increase. For several months, we see that the price of ETH is below $150 and this is an important resistance line that needs to be overcome for further growth.

We've seen recent spike in ethereum recently... while this may be a positive news for ethereum.. I don't think it will help the price at all.. regardless ethereum will grow once the bull is back 
i am still expecting a big split to happen and there is a good chance that we end up with two different coins as the old original chain remains and the new one is forked off from it.

although eth doesn't reach a maximum price and reaches $ 200 but at least ethereum is currently in the best position and the hardfork effect will definitely be felt for now. we can wait for the hardfork effect until later on.
if price were to get pumped, it would have gotten pumped already. that has been the case with all the hundreds of altcoin hard forks and splits in the past. the pumps start at least 1 week before the fork and continue up until the day the fork is to happen and we see a dump on that day which will continue until after the fork.
with this fork it seems like the market doesn't care about ethereum anymore and investors are more scared of it than before because of the bugs that their forks always introduce and also the fact that ETH can split into two new coins after this fork and lost a huge percentage of its price.

there was increase before the hardfork due to rumors and speculations. but so far there's no increase in the price of eth after hardfork. maybe the hardfork (constantinople and st peterburg) impact only the miners. average users won't see any difference in eth uses. hopefully there would be no selloffs after no increase in price after hardfork.
