That's great to hear, I look forward to the official release of the next version of MyEtherWallet.

In the mean time, this guide will show you how you can use the current version to send ETH to contracts and play in some of these games before they get flooded with new users.  Wink

The first mover advantage of early adopters will gradually diminish as Ethereum client software gets easier and there are more influxes of new users.

I was doing some digging on the github to see if I could fix the problem in the normal send transaction window.

I was happy to discover that MyEtherWallet 2.0 is being worked on right now and has the ability to easily modify the gas limit on the regular send transaction page!

This will definitely make it easier for new people to get started.

You can download the in-progress 2.0 version of the new MyEtherWallet with the fixes from github:

Here are the specific changes made related to sending transactions in case you are curious:

These changes were literally made hours ago.

I tested this out and it works perfectly! Nice work MyEtherWallet devs!

How To send ETH to Contracts with MyEtherWallet Without Running Out of Gas
New step-by-step guide for obtaining and sending Ether using MyEtherWallet.

By default, MyEtherWallet works great for sending Ether between accounts.  Contracts, however, typically require more "gas" to complete transactions.  The "Advanced" tab provides the ability to change the gas limit, but it can be confusing.  This picture guide aims to clarify the process.  I hope it is helpful.
