I don't find it that good and EOS as an operating system sounds ridiculous.
The combination of the worst centralized system and buggy blockchain and then it's called EOS. EOS governance is very centralized and there are so many politics and drama. Does it look good at all and i can say no for that.

Well, maybe after 10-15 years we'll see the picture in a better way. Probaby ETH wil lbe in the avangard, but  I can't say the same about EOS.

It's an Evolution of a similar concept, but I'm not sure your analogy with IBM-Microsoft works well, though we still have to see what EOS will really be like
This is a very compelling comparison and I really hope ETH and EOS can achieve the same trio as IBM and Microsoft today. That and ETH are two very good coins so investing in it is a good choice.

Though it sounds like what you said, they are different in their nature. EOS has an easy blockchain format than that of ETH. Moreover, ETH is more popular than EOS.

Though EOS was imagined to be a better form of Ethereum, the team has not disclosed the real full form of the abbreviation or wether EOS is even an abbreviated name.
But yes, they are going to give a competition to ETH.

I believe that you need to have both Ethereum and EOS in your investment portfolio. As for me personally, I do not consider coins in terms of their functionality, but in terms of their investment attractiveness.

Eth= microsoft, etc is nothing, eos will be something lower than eth. Ethereum is backbone of almost all things in the market right now.

While there are similarities, EOS is not exactly the same as Ethereum, from a technical and practical perspective.

I agree with this. We can’t say ETH is the ethereum operating system. Occasionally it will ETH=IBM and EOS=Microsoft.

Didn't EOS started with the idea of becoming Ethereum Operating System? Something like ETH=IBM and EOS=MicroSoft

On the most primitive look it can be seen as another platform for smart contracts if you want to look it in that way. But EOS should be more advanced with more rich features.

I guess EOS means The Epic Operating System  Smiley and the idea behind it is far away from Ethereum platform concepts in relation to governance
