Hello! If you find it cool, you can move your funds wherever you want but please don’t misguide the others. Freewallet might be not the very best (for you and some other guys from here) but I find it a good one to store MY cryptocurrency. It’s much easier in use than those you praise.

Because coinbase only supports ETH if I am not wrong
Actually, Your wrong, https://www.coinbase.com/price

i do believe what he wants to say is that the eth wallet on coinbase only support eth and won't show any other tokens, so you won't be able to access your less known tokens with coinbase.

i'm seeing usdc on coinbase though.

Basically you have sent out erc20 token which havent supported yet by Coinbase if yes, then contact their support.Lucky for you if they do tend out to help  you because in most
cases with these kind of recoveries they dont really tend to help out or theres a significant fees for those altcoins you have sent out and pulling them out.
This is why always read up which coins is supported not just carelessly on transferring something.

Why do people keep using those fake wallets? Even blockchain.info gives you access to private keys

They keep using them because of convenience and lack of knowledge. There are many people here who are insterested only in profit and don't make enough research (this topic is a good example; the author doesn't know much about ERC20 tokens). Also, Coinbase is listed high if you type 'Buy Bitcoin' in Google.

I didn't knew that....... This is the same as freewallet.org which is not a wallet at all....

Those tokens are lost OP. Move your funds to a real wallet. Coinomi, Mycrypto, Myetherwallet, or even a ledger nano or trezor.

As Coinbase is a hosted wallet, it's not feasible to provide the private keys to individual wallet addresses; doing so would prevent us from taking advantage of our secure cold-storage technology to protect your funds.

I hope you are lucky or that the amount is not huge but the platforms rarely respond to the request to re-send wrong "erc20 or coins" payment "need access to the private key linked to your account."
It will be a security problem for them so they go beyond that.
After contacting the support team you can ask communty help using ----->  https://www.reddit.com/r/CoinBase/.[They may help you if you find a great response to your case.]

can you please let me know how to get private key ? from coinbase ?

You can't get a private key from Coinbase. The only thing you can do right now is to contact their support and ask them if they can send those tokens to a different address. They might charge you a fee if they decide to help you. Next time, use MyEtherWallet or buy a hardware wallet.
Yeah, I was going to answer him with the same. It's unfortunate however I hope the customer service handle this issue and do something to get his tokens.

OP, you need to remember that coinbase is an exchange not a wallet. Exchanges has strict rules and instructions not to send tokens in an ETH wallet.

Because coinbase only supports ETH if I am not wrong.

But this does not mean that your token are not there. The tokens are there but you need a wallet that support ERC20 tokens. With this coinbase address, get the private key and open it using an ETH wallet like myetherwallet.com or mycrypto.com

Make sure you stay safe from the phishing links.

Wrong part of the forum, this should be under  Economy > Marketplace > Service Discussion > Exchanges
Or the altcoin discussion.

Either way, unless it's one of the tokens listed here:

https://support.coinbase.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2630943-supported-digital-currencies
You cannot get to them as coinbase does not support them.
