Considering the potencial of eth .... and if price goes up and im most likely will then it will still be profitable to mine in 2018
It is very profitable but finding any amd cards will be hard, have to over pay or have very limited quantity's available.

I do mining ETH with the RX 470 cards and i have 5 cards starting now. I have connected it with the nanopool mining and having claymore miner software in windows platform.
Since there is no crash issue in the time of restart or power cut.
I will be able to make around 360 USD including power charges, I have the power charges for 7 cents and then low. So i see it profitable to me. If someone shares their personal opinion, that's more informative.
