I will personally choose ETH for valid reasons.
i believe eth is better than litecoin at all
so, even people said litecoin is silver if bitcoin is gold

I think they both in win coins in the long term but I prefer give Ethereum a big share.

I see that here most people prefer Ethereum but people forgot one important aspect of Ethereum. With all this icos people are going to be cashing a lot of fiat when they finish. What does this means?

ETH and LTC are good and promising ones if we're talking about long run. They have usage and their names are very popular between crypto users. Thy demand it very nicely and this will take the price to even higher levels.

I don't agree with your opinion. Bitcoin Cash is better used because it is an altcoin for future payments and has many great features and more special than it was created by Bitcoin. Both are good and advisable for long term investment as it both performs in different platform.

I believe both will perform well in 2018 but in their on way. First choice is ETH among both.
I’d prefer Ethereum rather than Litecoin because in my opinion, most investors or people who are creating ICO’s prefer to use the Ethereum blockchain so that means it is widely used than that of Litecoin.

Both these cryptocurrencies are worth investing for long-term but I would prefer Ethereum as more reliable and in the long-term more profitable altcoin.
I've heard charlie lie already sold all of his litecoin portfolios to the market. As there will be more bitcoin fork and litecoin will be in the very strict competition. ethereum should become a better choice than litecoin itself. But i can't confirm that if the news was true or not.
Ethereum is for price speculation, it is great if you are going to day trade, if you want to hodl, then Litecoin.

Both are good for a long term investment of course, but I think.. the coin that would be more showing the best side first, it's Eth I guess, and Ltc will following Eth on its price developments over time.
Both of them are good altcoin. It is hard to point out which is better. In 2017, Litecoin goes up about 9000% from $4.6 to $366 meanwhile ETH rises up more than 9900% from $8 to $840 now. So, I think you should devide your fund into two parts for two coins.

There are a lot of competitors for ETH. And some of them could become a leader. I believe that LTC in 2018 will grow up to $3000. But I'm not sure about the possibility ETH to reach this level.
I go for eth it has brighter future in the market than any other altcoins.Its perform better in the ICO it has a good platform in cryptocurrency.Eth has a potential doing better performance in the market and a uniqueness of this coin.

From my own point bond view, both of them have done and doing great at the moment, but I would go with ETH. Being the 2nd ranked Crypto in CMC, and also, it has more popularity over Litecoin. The face that ethereum serves as a hub for a whole other Altcoins makes it worthwhile.

ETH and Litecoin are both different planet. Each with its uniqueness, and to that I'll surely invest in both. But if I have to choose, I go for Ethereum.

Very nice comment, indeed Ethereum and LiteCoin are two different things,
and in long run I believe both of them will have success.
I had that choice a week ago and I chose Ethereum, I bought 1 ETH for $430.
In that moment I could choose LiteCoin for $100 per 1 LTC. After a week LTC is
x3 and ETH almost x2. Some one would say wrong choice, for short run it is, but
my aim is long run and I chose Ethereum.
To be honest I do not see point of comparison between both coins. If in recent times market has been favoring Litecoin in such a remarkable way, it is rather due to purely speculative questions than to real technical ones, since it seems to me that ethereum is immensely superior to litecoin in practically all fields, and ethereum is called to remain for a long time as the companion and main competitor of bitcoin for the supremacy of the market.
I would go with both... On my portfolio both coins have been performing excellent If I had to chose one of them then I don't know... I would still split money and put 50/50 in each That's a wind that can blow both ways ....

The answer is easy. Ethereum. Litecoin only had a pump because it's listed in the coinbase app as the cheapest one. Ethereum will go maybe 5x next year maybe even more. Litecoin maybe 0,5x

Marked/Followed this topic since it is very hot & interesting.
ETH is pumping to much now, reaching faraway from 4xx which is needed to support other ICO since higher ETH bring stronger pressure to new ICOs.
