Al of those stressed me out.
I have done the same thing like last year.
My funds cannot be seen anywhere and it is just address to another until I got tired wasting too much time.

What you can do?
Forget about it!
Learn from it.
Use 2FA.
Never trust a centralized exchange and use it as a wallet.
Use the freaking cold wallets that are being offered. It's the better investment.

this Is another big problem that this market has and that in a way scares many people to invest money in this market. Cryptocurrency companies do little to compensate people harmed by these types of problems. For example in your case and what if it is the fault of the coinbase? how is it done to prove that the fault was with the coinbase? and I doubt that the coinbase will take the time to investigate your case and that is exactly the problem I am talking about

I'm sincerely very sorry for your loss, the truth is simply that your account was hacked. You need to understand that this hacking activities could be carried out using bots who can generate new wallet address and try to carryout some manipulations before reaching the final wallet. I've Lost over 1 eth in circumstances like this and found out that it could be as a result of some downloaded apps.

Sorry for your loss, there is no way you are getting this back, I don't trust coinbase because I have no access to my backup seed, this fault might not be from coinbase team, I'm suspecting hackers get hold of your login information, change your email password and start using 2FA or just stop using Centralized wallets and get better wallets like Exodus wallet, enjin wallet or trust wallet

It is better you rather look at how your account was hacked rather than the end point of your money. I know it is very hard for you now going through a lot of stress that figure out all those transaction but I do not believe a mining pool hacked your wallet. Coinbase is a centralized exchange which means it is possible if your login detail is known by third party, you balance can be withdrawn. Do you activate 2fA ? And where do you keep your login details. You have to find out this in order to safe you from other attacks especially when you still have coin in any of you wallet in your computer

Looks like someone had access to your coin base account, maybe some very close to you? And I'm sure your email account is compromised too, one thing I hate about coinbase wallet is

1. Lack of private keys or recovery seed
2. Having to log in with email and password

I do not feel shocked or anything. Your coinbase account got hack and you lost your eth, plain and simple. Next time, please add 2FA auth on your account and make sure your account and information are safe from hackers.
it's possible because we don't provide more security to our account. as you say we must provide more security for each account where we store assets. because of a little gap, then it is an opportunity for hackers.

If you are using android make sure you are using an official wallet or not because lately there are loads of fake apps flowing into play store. So be extra extra careful.

Anyways that is it. Im not sure what to do.  Coinbase to me is going to be of little to no help and will at least take over a month just to reply to me.  I guess I just need some help from somebody that has an idea of what happened and how my ETH got taken from my wallet from me this morning.  Then I am praying that someone may have an idea of what can be done about this.  My brain cant quite wrap itself around the info. Check it out on etherscan yourself.  I just need outisde opinion on this and any help that anybody may have to offer.  Here is the original tx id from when it was stolen from my wallet: 0x1a953f1ac05350d4547cb19df5feec679225925a93d6533ddf05a0309ecc3135

At this point, I'm not sure how Coinbase can help you. If your account has been hacked, it will be impossible to know who did this.

Usually one of those who have access to the device comes after such events. Has anyone recently been using your PC / Mobile device?

I have had a similar experience. The ending address is not that of a miner but an exchange. I've looked mine and others cases and have concluded that it happens with either stealing your private keys or mnemonic phrase or by fraudulent dapps getting access to your wallet. The first one can be done by keyloggers and clipboard malware or some screen recording malware. The second one are generally from fake clones of popular dapps and even a fake wallet.

So I have now done countless hours of research on this and where it all leads and what not is difficult to understand without knowing how they took the eth from my wallet in the first place.  First off it was my coinbase NON-CUSTODIAL wallet via the coinbase wallet app.  Second you cant even enter the app without my fingerprint so how is malware getting past the fingerprint scan?  Where the trail ends and how many of these addresses that hold so much volume of eth and tether and alts is staggering.  What I know is my went through two addresses in about 45 minutes maybe less time before it landed at the address it is still at.  Now this address has sent crypto to some very interesting addresses and its staggering to think about how this all could be possible.  I went back to the furst transactions this wallet made about a year ago and one of the first outgoing transactions went through a wash address and then that address had only made outgoing transactions to one wallet and it made a fair amount to this address.  The interesting thing is on etherscan this address was registered and verified to an exchange, it was labeled as HitBtc 3.  I clicked on the address to get more details and thats when I saw there were 20 or 30 comments made on this HitBtc 3 address page.  So I read them and need I remind you this address had only one other separating it from the one that took my eth.  So these comments were from all different people dating back to 2 years ago and as recently as a month ago.  These people all said they traced their STOLEN CRYPTO of differing blockchains but primarily ETH was taken.  All these people saud the trail stopped there at HitBtc 3.  They begged and pleaded for their stolen crypto back.  None of them received it ever.  So I did more research and found at least 14 or 15 wallets similar to the one my crypto went into meaning they were not registered to an exchange and NOT affiluated with any mining pools as far as I can tell so my first instinct was wrong possibly, and all these addresses made a very high volume of transactions with a vast majority all arriving in the exect same manor being sent through two or three others addresses all created the day they sent the crypto to these addresses with almost all of.the dummy addresses never to make any transactions again after that one day.  The signature move was the last address to send to any of these big holding addresses was a brand new address only receives one incoming trans and then sends only one outgoing always exactly one minute from receiving and ALWAYS to one of these big volume addresses.  Then when I dug.around more thats when mining pool wallets, top 10 exchange wallets, and other massive crypto entities with registered and labeled addresses on etherscan were only just 2 or 3 transactions away from these big time thieves.  How do these exchanges not know that they are just letting thieves of.probably close to billions of dollars worth of crypto and washing all the evidence through them and their exchanging of the stolen eth for say some clean tether.  This baffles me.  How did somebody steal my funds when you need my fingerprint to access my wallet and I Lookout security on my phone that has never sent me a red flag for anything but it is definitely staying on top of its scans.  So thats first mystery which will probably never be solved so that sucks.  Then my question that blows my mind is how are these thieves so closely involved with massive names on the industry and nobody knows that they are right next to them in the proverboal elevator everyday?  How?  I dont get it but I learned that these people have found an easy way into peoples wallets and looking at the amouny of cryptobin these wallets some.being well over a million dollars in their wallet but most have around two or three hundred thousand dollars roughly each.  Is it not possible that they have some sort of exploit in the blockchain itself?  Is it not possible the have access to a massive chink in the armor that nobody else is aware of?  Obviously there is a probably massive network of these criminals doing this crap every minute of the day.  I mean they have to be stealing in the billions of dollars range collectively and then washing all the funds through major major exchanges like Binance 1 and Gemini 1 as two addresses they often sent crypto to just to name a few.  I cant wrap my brain around it.  I dont have enough knowledge, experience, or connections to be able to crack this case.  My days with crypto might sadly have came to an end tho.  To know that my funds can be magically whisked away while I sleep and I cant really do a damn thing about it nor will anybody else after it happens.  Report it?  To who?  The cops?  Yeah right.  I actually would like something to b3 done about this and I got a feeling the SEC isnt going to be calling me anytime soon for a statement

Does your account has an activated 2FA? if it does, there's no way for an intruder/hacker to steal your Ethereum balance. If you have no hope with the Coinbase support, think of it that no one from us can actually help you on this transaction.
They will be the one to resolve this and give you light what actually happened to your fund and how it was hacked. Can you also remember if you have signed up for particular websites that required you to log in your Coinbase account?

Your account must have been hacked outside Coinbase. Did you see where the IP address of the last log in? are you using e-mail address or number to get verification to log in to your accounts? did you check your e-mail or messages to see if there's really a log in verification? or you didn't set up your security properly? if you didn't, then it's most likely that you got a malware from that eth miner and got your sensitive informations without getting protected.

To be honest, there's really not much you could do about it. You can only report it to the authority and hope that they investigate this matter.

I need you all to help me out with this.  At first I was pissed but I have delved into this theft of my ETH and it has blown my mind with what Ive found.  Ok so here is what happened while I was asleep this morning at 9:58 PST my noncustodial Coinbase wallet was wiped from its enitre balance which was just a hair under 0.75 ETH.  I woke up to see the notification and was in shock as I was asleep plus have never seen this Eth address in my life and I checked and never has anything been sent or received from it in the past.  I was upset for a long time but when I cooled down I decided to look at this theft of a transaction.  I followed it to its final address and that is the shocking reveal but lets talk about the details more here.

At 9:58 am PST 0.75 was "Sent" from my wallet: 0x8069FC90D08dE4f8909dD1c4FCCE1A9cf8Af4432    to this address: 0x74292944a7775e7fa91a6b875fcb9d76f72b88d5.

This address was never used before today.  It has made 8 transactions today, 6 input 2 output.  Interesting thing about this is that the other 5 inputs other than mine are much much smaller than mine and added up to ~0.043 ETH.  Interesting enough the two outputs split my transaction minus a negligible amount with the other 5 added up together then sent to identical scenarios.  They both were sent to an address that had never been used before today and only had the one transaction come in and then one minute later exactly on both transactions they were each sent away to their final destinations.

The final destination to my stolen ETH is: 0x146667322671E7de9012A5867E396829aF2A1880

I believe this address belongs to an ETH miner that is part of the ETHERMINE mining pool.  That means that my ETH was stolen from my wallet by a mining pool.  Why do I think its a miner well lets take a look at their balances, well I guess Im an idiot and cant figure out how to attach a pic but they have over $12000 in ETH & roughly $200000 in TETHER ERC-20......pair that with the other 60+ ERC-20 tokens of varying amounts that are nothing compared to the ETH and TETHER.  The 60+ alt coins to me just shows that they have been around as an address for a while akd received almost every airdrop that were direct dropped into wallets with an ETH balance.

I looked around even more on some of the the addresses that come in and come out and this is where it gets nutty to me.  This address that my 0.75 ETH ended up at has addresses that send it money or receive from this address and those one off addresses are only one off from wallets such as BINANCE 1 wallet as in their main ETH wallet for the whole exchange and I also saw one with Gemini 1 wallet.  Those exchange wallets were just two addresses away from the spot that my funds ended up at.  I find that pretty crazy but maybe that commonplace and I never noticed that before as I make most of my purchases on coinbase and maybe their wallet isnt labeled like those others are?  Or maybe I just missed it before.
