I don't know what's to disagree on the list. The only argument I think is whether eth2.0 will fully launch this 2020. If it won't, then at least phase 0 will still launch which will eventually lead to that.

Reading different post in this forum, I learned that some people even think ethereum needs permission from the SEC before it can launch (which isn't true of course). Maybe that's something to be added on the list.

I do hope that it is ready in July otherwise if could negatively impact it's price. I was speculating that maybe they are just waiting for the bitcoin to complete and then ride the hype around in after May. So July is a perfect time for them to launch. One thing I also read is that they really wanted everything to be almost perfect before they release it so it makes sense to delay, in my opinion.

You never can tell what might be the true cause of the delay, except the team come out to give the reason behind it. However, I envisage that since Bitcoin halving is close already, the plan for ETH 2.0 might also be around that time. It might either come before or after.
If it is eventually launched, I only expect an upgrade and not the creation of an entirely different coin, while leaving the previous operational.

I think on one know that when eth 2.0 will be going to launch because it is already postponed. and we know that eth team is doing hard work for eth 2.0 to launch within 3 quarter in 2020 I hope they will succeed this time to lunch a ethereum 2.0 because it has created new hype in crypto market and eth price is getting increasing day by day.so we have to wait until eth 2.0 launch, so better avoid rumors regarding eth 2.0.

It is estimated to be ready by july and community is super excited about it, the trend has also changed and the demand and value of eth is already geowing nicely now, i think if they are able to launch a good product that will address all major issues that are a hurdle for mass adoption and mass usage of network especially for dapps, then i am sure 2020 and 2021 are going to be huge huge years for Eth and price is going to skyrocket towards new highs.

It's basically a transition of being PoW > PoS and then a lot of opinions and thoughts came in because of the long wait. I think it's basically normal for others to think of those ideas which come in because of frustration.

Right now, we will never know what will happen next and the key is to be patient and depend on most of it on Vitalik and his boys.
