Scammers are always drawn to money. As soon as the criminals realized that it is possible to make money from the air on the crypto currency and not be afraid to go to jail, they began to do it. Ethconnect like Bitconnect - just big bubble-hype. Yes, it`s scam, devs want ONLY YOUR MONEY, guy. Be aware - these are terrible projects, this is scam, very big bubble (neoconnect, bitconnect, ethconnect and etc.) 
Well,... there bitconnect... many say it is a ponzi . And then someone copied that name and ponzi and made eth connect..... what does it look like to you?
Over 2000 confirmations on my Bitcoin and still pending. Tried to contact them through their support chat several times, but after more than a week still no response from them.
If they just steal my money, I wish they would just get the balls out and say then I could move on to my life instead of connecting every day to see if things have changed
