I don't think the developer is involved here, but probably some new users who aren't aware how trading works. I've seen the same thing before a number of times where people buy at a high price without realizing that they can get the coins they want at much lower prices. IMO, this is a mistake on the part of the buyer and is not directly related to EtherDelta.

honestly I am just like you, I do not understand with etherdelta so I very seldom do buy and sell in etherdelta especially etherdelta errors often occur and slow to renew, it makes me very dizzy.

I think there's a lot of manipulation going on by devs of airdrop tokens, once they sell a bunch of their own tokens they can easily pump.
Or maybe a whole lot of people that don't understand how etherdelta works?  Grin

Ok so why someone cant buy my tokens at high price  Sad

CREATE YOUR OWN CRYPTO-CURRENCY WITH ETHEREUM 150$
the best way if you see something unusual - use any old etherdelta smartcontracts

nowadays etherdelta moved from the GitHub to website and stopped been fully automatic for me

so if you are interested in the same service etherdelta had before you can ask me develop EtherDex.net
http://etherdex.net/ is the idea, not finalized project and use the  opensource

EtherDelta is a sh*t place
A week ago I found some orders in orderook for Altcoins (Golem.... and other), so I decided to sell some of mine (4-5 orders with good prices). It was some kind of strange for me because this platform is sh*t, but ... after an hour a decided to give a try... I transferred altcoins to Etherdelta and guess what - all this great orders disapeared at the moment when I try to make a deal (I was clicking on SELL)...  Have in mind that this is the second time that this happen to me there, so in future I will use it only if I am buying...

I dont know but maybe it is the dev. Trying to increase the price. I have seen this a lot of times but never think of it since i expect that those are only made by the devs.

But price is never pumped with 1000 eth

I've seen it happening with most coins where a coin worth $0.1 is sold for $5 making the price on etherdelta appear to be the highest among all other exchanges but I feel they are just bots as these orders get filled in seconds and then the price again drops. Etherdelta's price can't be trusted.

Its not bot because its big money involved like 50 ethereum, who is crazy to pump it with so much eth

Ok so I have bought 50000 ATM tokens on hitbtc. When I saw strange movement price i transfered all of them to Etherdelta. The mistery is there are strange things going on. I do understand how that exchange works, its not automatic and if I want to sell something the buyer must choose my trade. That is strange but ok.

What i don't understand is this: price is various, for example there are 5 transactions sold for 0.0000175 and then somebody buys it for 0.0000620 Huh?!!!!! But he can buy it for less. WHAT THE F is going on? Why are the people buying it for much higher price in LARGE AMOUNTS. It's not bot and it's not micro transaction, it's like 50-100 ethereums involved.

Can you explain me this? And of course no one yet bought my ATM tokens.. i guess Im not lucky enough
