I think that the whole market is ready for the next pump. People that are still holding their crypto currencies have faced a lot of difficulties during this year, but they are still holding and being patient. When the update comes, the market should explode.
I hope that is true, but seeing the current situation of ethereum is very shocking, I almost lost my trust in ethereum at this time, ethereum prices dropped to the lowest 
I hope that this update will bring what everyone has been waiting for, ethereum growth, although to be honest, I find it hard to imagine it against the background of the events taking place!
Vitalik said there would be an increase in ethereum2.0 but why today's ETH price reached its lowest point this year, besides all altcoins also crashed to very low prices.

We all know that 60% to 70% of altcoins in the market are powered by ethereum and I might say that Ethereum 2.0 will eliminate those fraud altcoins which can be created in an instant on the current ethereum blockchain without any security from its investors. Vitalik Buterin always thinks of way to protect its investors and the future of cryptocurrency. I hope that this time, it will not be similar to hard fork BCH where a massive sell off happened. I am pretty sure that Ethereum 2.0 offers more secured blockchain than the current ethereum.
Ethereum value is far from what it is in the market and when the road maps of ethereum started to be reached after the other, there will definitely be a rising of ether price to new height in cryptocurrency market.
It sounds great for Ethereum 2.0 and I think it can make a very big pump, because everyone will flock to buy ethereum and try the latest technology. I hope Ethereum 2.0 can run as soon as possible and restore the current ethereum condition

I have no choice but to believe that the Ethereum will grow over time. However, it scares me that such news is said out loud. Usually, before growth, on the contrary, it is a question of bad predictions.

1000x is something unbelievable. I can imagine 100x growth of ethereum in 5-7 years range, but 1000x it won't happen for ethereum, it isn't a low cap shit coin which can be pumped, so I suggest you to analyze capitalisation and potential capitalisation prior to make such conclusions
If there is near they should make an announcement for stopping the bleeding. Becoming an ethereum investor is not good right now and everyone needs something to stay positive.

I dont have any idea what ethereum 2.0 could bring in the current state of ethereum nowadays, but nobody can tell what will happen next, but i hope it could drive more positivity in ETH. Its so embarassing to know that lately ETH was falling, since the start of the 2nd quarter of the year. Could it bring 1000x of the price now? i hope so and i am excited.

Ethereum is useful when it comes to Decentralizing Application ( DAPPS) and because of that, ethereum easily emerge on its early introduction to the market. As ethereum approaches the bull run of the market its price are constantly increasing on which it caused the price to up for more than 3000% last year. I am bullish on ETH for long term perspective and i dont care about the short term dance that the market will do, they are just noise and it is very impossible for any human being to catch every move. The best approach for me is LONGTERM. The fundamentals are in the right place and now is the right time to buy. But please DYOR.

I like eth as it is fast now and it propelled the ICO boom of 2017 by making it possible for projects to use the token system while building their own blockchain.
I think it's really undervalued at the current price but we can never really tell when the bottom is.
I will sit back and buy some whenever I can afford it.

I'm an ETH holder and I just this will change the current scene that we've been seeing right now with ETH.

If the Ethereum 2.0 platform works properly then I'm sure it will pump and stays on top and if that doesn't happen and theres so much trouble in using Ethereum 2.0, I must say this will hurt the Ethereum price even more. But developers of Ethereum are top class so I dont think this will happen on Ethereum 2.0, I'm sure the are well prepared on any pickles along the way. It can gain more than 1000x the market now. Do ETH 2.0 will undergo hard forking again? if that so, resulting of the recent hardfork in the Bitcoin cash, it does not benefit so much since the price drops. If ETH 2.0 will be lunch, there might be some hash problem again. Does it mean the market will still going to fall?
This statement to be my question. I am very sure what is talked Mr. Vitalik, as evidenced in early 2018 Ethereum soared at that time.

They are stating it as the biggest ever eth upgrade and it is coming in mid january, i think it can definitely bring the hype and fomo back in the market,most of the analysts are already suggesting a value gain of 5x to 10x for eth just due to this eth, do remember that it is not only a news event, it will practically help eth come out of scaling issues and improve performance tremendously, so lets hope it will bring huge results for investors as well.

Do not blindly believe anyone in this crypto trading, yes Mr. vitalik can predict anything but investor's matter here, lot of celebrities are involving in crypto currency like Floyd Mayweather. Yes there would be high demand for 2.0 for sure but I think it will not be popular as ethereum.

I've heard the news about this, Ethereum 2.0 is a refinement of Ethereum before and maybe this will be a turning point for Ethereum's resurrection, although not 1000% can increase the price of Ethereum, at least maybe 100% is enough, but is it possible?
I do not think that today's technologies could allow to transform Ethereum platform to get it more interesting to investors and users without changing basic principles of its network. Ethereum 2.0 could not be launched in these two years.

These 1000x estimates are indeed exaggerated but Ethereum 2.0 could be the gamechanger. I strongly believe that Ethereum has a brighter future than Bitcoin itself when it comes to adoption and new blockchain technology.
