There will not be a new coin produced from the update to Constantinople. There are only 2 real Ethereum coins which are Ethereum and Ethereum Classic, any other forks have proven to be a scam looking for your private keys.

I think there will only be one ethereum, and that is all from development to advancing and to improve the ethereum work system, to be more sophisticated.

Hello,

iam new in the Crypto Wolrd and has a question to Ethereum 2.0

Will be Ethereum 2.0 a totally new coin, so that there will be Ethereum (1.0) and Ethereum 2.0?

Or will be the new Ethereum a fork of the Original Ethereum, so that there will be only one Ethereum?

Sorry for this noob question.
No more ethereum 1.0 and 2.0 and it will be the same as ethereum. ethereum is ethereum and the protocol update will change nothing dude. You must see that how it will give a different on the inflation of ethereum caused by the miners. Fork will change ethereum.

Ether sum deva already announced ethereum 2.0. Where they will be working on some stuff like scalability, ten rate and ten fees. This will take time but for that they will be hard fork ether sum in few days maybe in end of the February. But there will be no new coin. It is some upgrade in chain. The forked name as Constantinople. So keep in mind they will not offer any new token. Its the same ether sum with some new power. That's it.
